The Space:

Settle in for a Blue Ridge mountain getaway at this gorgeous Blairsville cabin. Nestled in a picturesque, wooded setting within easy reach of nearby hiking, dining, and attractions, guests will be treated to the sights and sounds of bubbling creek meandering its way through the property. Indulge in quiet country living while relaxing on the furnished deck or roasting s'mores around the creekside firepit. Fire up the gas grill for a mountain style barbecue to be enjoyed at the outdoor dining table set for six. Challenge friends and family to some casual competition with a few rounds of Ping-Ping or cards at the game table in the basement.



The cozy interior features vaulted beam ceilings and rustic accents furnished for contemporary guest comfort. You'll find everything you need for home-cooking in the well-equipped kitchen featuring a full suite of major appliances (plus dishwasher), cookware, and utensils. The adjacent, pub-height table seats four and full meals can be enjoyed at the dining table set for six. In the evenings, unwind beside the living room fireplace while streaming your shows on the smart TV or choose from one of the available DVDs for a classic family movie night.



The primary bedroom features a private en suite bathroom and smart TV. The second guest room and a shared, full bathroom are also located on the main floor. A spiral staircase provides access to the loft style third bedroom.

Great location!

We enjoyed the beautiful fall scenery and weather for a week. The cabin was perfectly located for many good hiking trails and was comfortable and dog friendly.

Creekside Cabin

The property was wonderful! The house had plenty of room for our group and entertainment for the kids onsite. Its very close to Vogel state park and other area attractions.

Great Getaway

We stayed at Dancing Waters in Blairsville GA. We would definitely recommend it for the location and coziness of the cabin. Only 3 of us but could have comfortably slept 6. Great local hiking trails and falls nearby.

Comfortable house

Set in a forest setting the house was comfortable with a trickling stream you could hear and see from the deck. The beds slept well and the couches were great after days spent in beautiful nature. This house would hold a large group comfortablely.

The house it’s on a beautiful lot with a stream running right by it. Luckily it rained the day we came so there was plenty of water in it. The house was laid out nicely, but there were some downfalls. The basement had no heat so it to spend time down there Was off-limits. There weren’t enough linens for the bed and the linens that were provided were the wrong size sheets. We stayed seven days, but the house only had enough dishwasher cleaner for one load. It was OK but will search for something different next year over Thanksgiving.

Thank you for your feedback. We are so glad you enjoyed the beautiful lot and the stream running alongside the home. It truly is a special setting, especially after a good rain. We would like to clarify a few items. We provide a starter supply of essentials such as toilet paper, trash bags, and dishwasher detergent. For longer stays, guests are responsible for purchasing additional supplies as needed, as we do not provide unlimited quantities. Regarding the linens, we are not aware of any sizing issues, as the sheets provided are designated for the specific beds in the home. However, we will review this with our team to ensure everything is properly stocked and matched. The basement is unfinished, and while the temperature can vary compared to the upper levels, there is a heat vent servicing that area as well. We appreciate you sharing your experience and value your feedback.

Nice quiet neighborhood with good access to many trails nearby

The house was very clean and check in was a breeze. The sound of the steeam running through the front yard was relaxing and provided a great place to sit and dip sore feet in after hiking all day. Vogel state park is just down the road providing a great place to fish and many trails to hike. An access point to theAppalachian trail is just up the road a short drive providing a nice day hike up Blood Mountain. We would highly recommend staying here for a great getaway. There is zero cell service in the neighborhood, but the house has internet.

Outside was great

We loved the stream right outside the cabin. There was plenty of seating room inside and out. However, the flood light that shines on the fire pit did not work. The electrical recliner on the couch did not work. The trash can foot pedal did not work. The door to the basement was missing a doorknob. Those are all easy improvements that would make a big difference.

crazy experience

the place was nice and peaceful the inside was clean, but the floor was sticky the dishes was unclean, all the plates was greasy, i had to rewash all the dishes before we use. our first night, my daughter took a shower the water did not drained we have 6 people in the house we had to shared the shower in the master room and it was stressful. i did reach out to renting company the agent told me they will send someone out to fix it with tin an hour - no one came around 7 pm received a phone call around 7pm sand was told someone will come in the morning. The bedding sheet was old and the blanket was smelly i don't know if it was ever wash also the spiral stair to the loft was scary just going up and down.

Beautiful and relaxing family weekend getaway!

Dancing waters is a welcoming treat! It is a gorgeous fun and relaxing home in a wonderful location. There are way to many nice details to mention inside and outside. My favorite 2 things outside would have to be sitting at the fire pit listening to the rushing water while making smores and enjoying family time, the 2nd was standing on the balcony with a cup of coffee watching the sun come up while enjoying the sounds and views of the beautiful "dancing waters" and all the wildlife around. My 2 favorites inside was the reading window over looking the water and the beautiful fire place. Although each of my family had their own favorites. The home is very well stocked so just bring your basic needs ie clothes, food & drinks. You are pretty well covered otherwise. If you do need anything the Dollar General approximately 10 mins down the road has pretty much everything you could need. The only negative I could say about our stay was housekeeping was lacking. This did not change our views of the home nor the outcome of our getaway. If you are thinking about staying at "Dancing Waters" you should definitely give it a try. The name is very fitting. I am normally a beach gal but this trip has me wanting more mountain vacations!
