Summary:

The Polynesian Resort Condominiums is a shared complex of 69 condos. Prior to 2026, the location operated as the Polynesian Resort Hotel, but it transitioned to being individually rented vacation condos as of April 1st, 2026. Even though all condos are in the Polynesian Rentals program, they are each a unique property with a different owner and listing.



The Space:

Step inside one of our top floor, ocean-view penthouses! We've named this particular unit "Prawn Wayne", as a nod to the famous actor John Wayne who stayed here while filming the movie "McQ". With three bedrooms, this spacious unit sleeps up to six with two king beds and a queen bed. The extra space and layout make it perfect for a large family or group. Step outside on the balcony and soak in the cool ocean air and panoramic views, or stay in and relax by the fireplace on cool, rainy days. The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, full fridge, stove and oven, microwave, and a coffee pot with coffee. There's plenty of counter seating, as well as a dining room table to make your meals comfortable.



This beautifully decorated unit includes three bathrooms, one of which houses its own in-unit sauna. There's no better way to relax by the beach than with your own private spa-like space.



Pets are welcome in this unit. Bring your best friends along for your beach trip and save on the boarding costs. Expect more tail wags and a more enjoyable trip with the whole family.



As a guest of Polynesian Rentals, you'll get access to the communal pool room with heated pool and hot tub, the Game Room on the 2nd floor with a rentable pool table and real arcade games, and an outdoor recreation area with a swing set, horse shoe pits, tetherball pole, and a picnic area with BBQs. The Polynesian Resort is also within easy walking and driving distance of our favorite Ocean Shores' breakfast, Our Place, and the beach!

Interaction with Guests:

We leave you free to enjoy your stay! It is self check-in and checkout. However, the front desk is staffed by our team from 10 AM to 7 PM daily and we employe some on-site maintenance and housekeeping during the day – please don't hesitate to reach out if you need anything. For urgent concerns after 7 PM, we employ an after hours phone service. They are trained to help with common questions and can contact staff if in-person assistance is needed. We do our best to make sure you have the freedom to enjoy the space on your own, but we have support available if you need it.
