We offer a smooth and hassle-free self-check-in experience! Just like at a hotel where you provide your ID and a security deposit at the front desk, our check-in process is just as simple—only online. We use a secure system where you will receive a personalized rental agreement and ID verification. Once completed, your arrival instructions and self-entry codes will be sent to you.

During Your Stay:
Please note that this home is a half-duplex nestled in a very friendly, family-oriented neighborhood. You will likely see kids playing nearby and friendly folks all around you!
Also, to keep our outdoor spaces looking vibrant, someone may stop by in the mornings to quickly water the flower beds out front and the plants on the back patio. We will always be quick and unobtrusive.

• Keyless Entry: Enjoy convenient, self-guided check-in with personalized door codes provided before your arrival. Both the front and back doors are equipped with smart locks for easy access.
• Private Space: Guests have full, private access to their entire side of the duplex, including all interior living spaces and amenities shown in the listing.
• Outdoor Areas: Relax on the private front porch or the secluded back patio. Both spaces are well-lit at night and perfect for enjoying morning coffee, dining outdoors, or gathering around the fire pit.
• Parking: There are two designated parking spots located behind the home. If your group needs more space, we can easily accommodate up to four vehicles in the back upon request. There is also plenty of free, easy street parking right in front of the property.
• Owner Closets: Please note that any locked doors or storage areas are reserved for owner and maintenance use only.


Sue Zen isn't a typical short-term rental. It is a home designed from top to bottom to feel like a genuine escape.

The Living & Dining Spaces

When you walk in, the front room immediately encourages relaxation. It features intentional styling, comfortable leather seating, and layered mood lighting from various lamps and electric candles. You'll find a smart TV, meditation chimes, fun books to read, and a few children's games. Extra blankets and pillows are scattered throughout to make it the ultimate cozy lounge.

Through the walkthrough, the dining room is ready for gathering. A beautiful dining table comfortably seats six (with placemats, napkins, and dinnerware provided), and an extra high chair is available if you have a little one. We have set a fun vibe in this room with a Bluetooth record player, a curated vinyl collection, and galaxy projector lights.

Note: The entire first floor features light-filtering roller shades to darken the space on days you truly just want to retreat. You will also find an air purifier running to keep the environment fresh, and while we love live plants, the home’s natural light requires us to use beautiful replicas to maintain that lush, jungle vibe.

The Kitchen & Half Bath

This kitchen is designed for actual cooking. It is fully equipped with high-end, non-toxic ceramic pots and pans (please use the provided wooden utensils only!), baking sheets, a pizza stone, mixing bowls, a colander, a blender, and a spice rack. For mornings, enjoy our dedicated drip and pod coffee maker alongside a selection of locally sourced teas.

In the fridge, you'll find a filtered water pitcher, plus ice cube trays and ice packs in the freezer—perfect for packing up our provided Tupperware into coolers for a picnic or a trip to the pool. Just off the kitchen, there is a bright, fun half-bathroom. For your convenience, we also keep the space stocked with non-toxic cleaning supplies, a broom, a dustpan, a padded mop, and a cordless vacuum.

The Bedrooms (Sleep & Retreat)

Sleep here is an experience. Each bedroom has been beautifully "color-drenched" from head to toe and styled with gorgeous artwork. Every bed is dressed in organic cotton mattress and pillow protectors, bamboo sheets, and four plush down sleeping pillows.

To ensure complete rest, every bedroom features:
A smart TV connected to high-speed Wi-Fi
Dual-layer window treatments (light-filtering shades + complete blackout curtains)
A sound machine
A tower fan
Dimmable bedside lamps with built-in USB and USB-C plug-ins

The Full Bathroom

Upstairs, the full bathroom features a stunning floor-to-ceiling tiled shower with a tub (perfect for little ones) and a beautiful vanity area to get ready. Each guest is provided with two plush bath towels, washcloths, and plenty of hand towels.

Outdoor Living

The outdoor spaces are just as intentional as the inside.
The Front Porch: Features comfortable seating overlooking Northwest Boulevard, a retractable sunshade, and a faux plant wall for privacy. It is the perfect spot to sip coffee in the morning.
The Back Patio: A secluded oasis featuring a privacy divider, an outdoor sectional couch, a propane fire pit, a dining table, and warm string lights overhead. There is also a small grassy yard to enjoy.

Equipped for Every Group

Whether you are a group of friends or traveling with kids, we have you covered. For families, we provide a crib, pack-and-play, high chair, and children's toys. We also supply a wagon, stroller, coolers, and Tupperware—perfect for a picnic or a trip down to the municipal pool, which is just a short walk away.

Laundry Service

We’ve partnered with a local laundry service that will pick up your laundry and drop it back cleaned and folded the following day for a fair fee. Inquire for a quote!

Getting around from our home is incredibly easy, no matter how you choose to travel!

Walkability:

Grandview Heights is one of the most walkable neighborhoods in the city. You can easily walk to local coffee shops, restaurants, gyms, and parks.

Rideshare (Uber/Lyft):

Rideshares are plentiful and usually arrive within minutes. Host tip: When booking an Uber or Lyft, we personally recommend upgrading to at least a "Comfort" or "Uber Black" tier for a more reliable and comfortable experience, though standard options are always available!

Driving:

If you brought a car, you will have easy access to your vehicle via our dedicated parking spots in the back or the free street parking out front. We are very centrally located, so you can hop on the main roads and be anywhere in Columbus in minutes.

Public Transit (COTA Bus):

There are multiple bus stops conveniently located right on Northwest Boulevard! Columbus uses the COTA bus system. The easiest way to ride is to download the "Transit app" on your smartphone, where you can plan your route, track buses, and purchase digital passes. You can also simply use "Tap to Pay" on the bus with a contactless credit card or Apple/Google Pay.
