Escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy a peaceful stay at this lovely, family-style cabin in South Haven, Minnesota. This rustic space features 2 queen beds in one bedroom and a full bed in the other bedroom, with ample dresser space for your belongings. 240 feet of shoreline with beautiful lake views from almost every cabin window. Relax on the hammock while listening to the birds sing. Because the cabin is located in the channel between Lake Marie and Lake Louisa, the property is a no wake zone, which means no loud boats and jetskis zooming by. Cabin is at the end of the road, so the west side of the cabin offers complete privacy as you relax on the spacious deck, roast marshmallows in the firepit, and take in the beautiful sunsets over the lake. Enjoy Wii and xBox games, painting rocks, cornhole, and lots of board games, cards, and puzzles for the whole family. Plenty of fish to catch right from the dock, where there is space for your boat. Swimming is a short boat ride to the sandbar.

This retreat is perfect for a small group or family. Whether you’re relaxing indoors or exploring nearby, this quaint cabin offers a marvelous spot to unwind. We’ll be available to answer any questions while you stay at our place.

We really enjoyed our stay! The cabin is well equipped and we appreciated the extras like the fire pit with wood. Nice location on the lake. Although the area in front of the dock is a little weedy, we still went swimming and enjoyed the lake. Host was very helpful and easy to reach. There were helpful instructions left at the cabin. We also enjoyed the small towns in the area. We would definitely recommend it and would stay again!

Great size for a family of four or some close friends. Lots of seating areas outside (private patio, private fire pit, platform overlooking water, small dock, hammock). Excellent communication with host. Close to neighboring cabin on one side but they were quiet. Clean and comfortable cabin. Host left a nice note with things to know about cabin and ideas to do for the weekend. Would absolutely stay here again.

We absolutely loved our time at this beautiful cabin! The lake curves around the property and the view of the sunset filtering through the trees is so serene. We are sure this cabin has the best view of any other property on the lake! The patio on the hill overlooking the water sits in dappled shade in the morning, and my husband and I loved sitting there, listening to the birds. We brought inflatable boats and paddleboards and my kids had a great time swimming in the lake. They were able to jump off the dock as well. There was bean bag toss, a grand firepit, a gas grill and ample outdoor seating. The owners even left a pretty little daisy meadow growing in the back by the woods. My husband had a great time fishing here, right off the dock. He was able to get catfish and blue gills. We also saw lots of frogs, water fowl, and owl and deer. The inside of the cabin is pristine. Thought has been put into every detail. The decor, trim, wood choices, flooring...everything is just perfect. We absolutely loved the giant bedroom with two queen beds. And there are two large smart TVs we were able to watch the World Cup on! The kitchen and bathroom was well equipped with anything one might need.All in all, this was such a memorable vacation for us. We just needed a place to stay for a youth soccer tournament in St. Cloud, but this property provided so much more than that. The host has great communication and has put loads of love into this place. We can't wait to come back again!

We bought the cabin in 2020 and spent the next two summers fixing it up. We use the cabin often, but since recently retiring, we are able to enjoy the cabin during the weekdays, while our VRBO guests enjoy the cabin on long weekends. Our primary residence is in Lake Elmo, MN where we live with our young adult son.
