THE BEACH

Beach access is seamless via a dedicated ramp, with an outdoor shower and spray hose waiting to rinse off the day before you head back inside.
Guests staying April through August receive a complimentary professional beach chair and umbrella setup — already arranged on the sand and ready when you are. A personalized coordination link is provided prior to arrival. No extra cost. No effort. Just the beach.
Need more room? Four additional guest beach chairs and umbrellas, four classic blue and white striped beach towels, and a selection of beach toys are all provided — so the whole crew can spread out and settle in without a second thought.

Everything between your door and the Gulf has been thoughtfully arranged — all that's left is to enjoy it.
The grand lobby serves as a lively social hub complete with two pool tables, arcade games, and a boutique convenience shop stocked with all those last-minute essentials you may have forgotten. Stylish communal lounging and dining areas offer the perfect cool retreat on a warm afternoon — because sometimes the best part of a beach day is the break from it.

THE SPACE
Beautifully renovated and sleeping up to 8 guests across two bedrooms and a living area, Driftwood Days has room for the whole crew without sacrificing a single comfort.
The primary suite is a true retreat — a luxurious king-size bed, a 55" HD Roku TV, and bedside nightstands with USB and USB-C charging ports. The guest bedroom offers flexible sleeping with a queen and full bed, a 42" HD Roku TV, and matching charging accommodations — perfectly suited for families, friends, or a mix of both. A plush queen pull-out sofa in the living area rounds out the sleeping arrangements beautifully. Every bedroom is finished with a dedicated luggage bench and hanging space, because an organized space makes for an effortlessly relaxed stay.
Both walk-in shower bathrooms are beautifully appointed and stocked with complimentary shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towels, washcloths, a bathmat, blow dryer, and a countertop hot iron mat — because the little details are what make a stay truly memorable.

The signature Keurig Duo coffee nook is stocked with pods, filters, creamers, and sugars so every morning begins exactly right. Dishwasher tablets, dish soap, a sponge, and garbage bags are included — so settling in is seamless from day one. The dining area and bar top seat all 8 guests comfortably — the perfect setting for shared meals and unhurried conversation.

Guest Access
Your arrival at Driftwood Days has been designed to feel seamless and secure. A unique 4-digit access code is delivered to your party on check-in day, granting private entry to Unit 801A beginning at 4:00 PM. The keypad is equipped with a courtesy light for easy visibility — simply press the first digit to activate, then complete your code. For the privacy and security of your stay, please keep your code private, as neighboring units are equipped with Ring cameras. A Ring doorbell camera is positioned at the unit entrance to ensure only authorized guests enter and that our strictly enforced no-pet policy is upheld at all times.

Front Desk Check-In Is Required Upon Arrival
Before heading up to the unit, all guests must stop by The Summerhouse front desk. A separate facility fee of $36 — payable directly to The Summerhouse upon arrival — covers parking passes for up to two vehicles and complex wristbands granting every guest access to all shared amenities, including the pools, hot tub, and common areas. This fee is not included in your booking charges and cannot be collected in advance. Please note that parking is limited to two vehicles per unit — we kindly ask that all guests plan accordingly before arrival.

Questions During Your Stay
Unit 801A is independently and personally self-managed by your hosts — not the front desk. For any questions, requests, maintenance concerns, or anything else that arises during your stay, please reach out to us directly and exclusively through the VRBO messaging platform. We are attentive, hands-on hosts who take great pride in responding promptly and ensuring your experience at Driftwood Days is nothing short of exceptional from check-in to checkout.

Other Things to Note
To officially confirm your reservation, a signed rental agreement and a refundable security deposit equal to two nights' stay are both required within one hour of booking. Reservations that remain incomplete after this window may be released at the host's discretion. Access codes will not be provided until both requirements have been fulfilled. We've made the process straightforward — complete it quickly and the countdown to your stay officially begins.
Driftwood Days warmly welcomes longer stays from November through February — a quieter, more unhurried season on the Gulf Coast with warmer winters and the beauty of the Gulf nearly all to yourself.
