This was by far the worst experience I have had with Vrbo. The communication from day one was awful. I never got to stay at the two venues I actually booked. Upon arriving to my first location and calling the host I was informed there was a pipe burst and could not check in. Mind you I was traveling with family and needed five beds. They offered another location for the same price with three beds and I told them that would not work. I contacted Vrbo and they canceled my reservation and gave me a refund which I did not have access to until my trip was over. They booked us a very cheap motel for the night in a sketchy neighborhood and told me I could book another location for the following day which I did. Fast forward to the following day, I call two hours ahead of check in and was told the cleaners were on site and the venue would be ready at 4 pm. I call again at 3:50 pm because I had not yet received information on how to check in and was told that the AC units were not working properly so I could not check in and they did not know when they would be fixed. At this point I am livid because this was the second time my host did not communicate with me in a timely manner and my venue was canceled. They offered another location with 4 beds for the same price which I felt I had no choice to take. The location was not as nice as the others and this whole thing was a major headache and inconvenience. I came to celebrate my grandmas 90th bday and this ordeal was just bad
