Great property!

We stayed a couple nights and everything was great and accurate in the listing. The ski shuttle was across the street and just a 5 minute ride to the base of the resort. We would stay again!

Great place with a few quirks

We liked the condo but it was terribly hot ( our fault for not realizing it didn’t have AC) The ice machine did not work, even after tapping it like suggested. There was never any ice or cold water in the dispenser.

Hi Rachel, Thank you so much for your review and helpful feedback! We're so happy to hear that you had a great stay with us. Please let us assure you that we will be inspecting the trash cans in the unit and replacing any broken cans as needed. Next time you stay with us, remember our 24/7 guest hotline is always available to call with any issues that come up. We want to make sure you're as comfortable as you can be during your stay. We stock each home with what is called a "starter supply" of basic items. It is not designed to be an unlimited supply, but rather, to get a typical reservation through their arrival so that they take inventory, and pick up whatever else is needed to get them through their stay. Prior to each stay, we stock dish soap, laundry detergent, a roll of paper towels, toilet paper, a dish brush to wash dishes, a few trash bags, dishwasher detergent, bar soap, and the standard bathroom amenities you might find in a hotel. You were perfect guests, and we appreciate you taking care of our place as if it were your own. We can't wait to have you stay with us again! - The TurnKey VR Team

Annual Ski Trip

Condo was perfect for 2 couples. Very clean with comfy beds. Close to the mountain and easy access to the bus system. Only suggestion we have would be to provide a shorter door access code. 10 digits is pretty long. If it needs to be 10 digits couldn't it be the renter's own phone? Something easy to remember.

Sunray condo

Enjoyed our stay here and would stay again. Condo is a bit dated but comfortable. Beds were very comfortable. Location was great. Ceiling fans were nice to cool the rooms. Unit is south-facing away from the ski area so no views which was fine for us, but it can get toasty inside if you don’t draw the blinds. A few minor improvements - bar stools are too low as noted by prior guests. Supplying sponges at the kitchen sink would be nice as would having Kleenex in the rooms. Very minor things but those are basics that should be in any rental property.

Great powder weekend!

The condo is very nice inside and perfect for two couples since its bedrooms have either a K or Q bed and two full bathrooms. The heated two car tandem garage is so nice -- we were able to fit both cars in and get ready for a ski day inside since its heated. Its a very convenient location as well -- about one block from a free shuttle to the ski area. The couches are very comfortable, and the gas fireplace makes everything warm and cozy. The table is large so works well for meals and game playing. The laundry room has plenty of space for our coats and other ski clothing, etc. We used the gas grill on the covered balcony to cook one night in, which was nice after a long ski day. The powder skiing was epic! It was a perfect weekend! The only thing we missed was the complex does have a hot tub, but there is a hot springs in town and another one about 30 min away.

Great Spot

We have been coming to Steamboat every year for years and decided to try this place out. Location is great and size of unit works really well. My biggest complaint was that someone had pets in this home. There was dog hair everywhere which flared my allergies. We had to do our best to lint roll all the hair which was all over the couches and bed. I would not have booked had I known this. Only other complaint is inability to keep temperatures consistent throughout the unit. They don’t have central heat and air which makes that very difficult. The living room would be hot while the bedrooms ice cold. Otherwise the amenities was great and what they provided was really nice. The garage was great and the kitchen was perfect.

Lovely condo, poor experience.

The home itself was lovely. However, our experience was less than great. The heat was broken the entire time we were there. It was blaring at 80 degrees the first night, so we called the main number. Maintenance came in a reasonable amount of time and changed out the thermostat. This did not work. Called again the next day. Maintenance came and basically said they need to get a plummer and this won't happen quickly. Spent 3 nights - didn't sleep much even with the windows open. In addition, someone prior to us arriving, must have put an oven mat on the bottom of the oven. We preheated it for a pasta bake that we brought with us. Put the pasta bake in and 5 minutes later there was smoke that smelled like chemical billowing out of the oven. Turned off the oven, opened it, saw a smoking oven mat, pulled it out. All was fine but it ruined our dinner and we had to spend a bunch of money and wait to be seated another hour with hungry kids at a restaurant in town. Again, the condo is nice, our experience was not.

Great Stay for skiing vacation

We really liked this condo. Great for 4 people but not more. It was very clean and checking in was relatively smooth. The condo had all the things that were listed online and then some more. Owners have understood the renters needs and provided little things For example extension cord for plugging in laptop and phone chargers, different type of spices for food, lot of towels , extra blankets, humidifier etc. All appliances in Kitchen work and it has granite countertop and all types of utensils. Condo location is about 0.5 miles from Steamboat Gondola and the citi bus stop is 100 yards away or you can walk. Location is safe The only thing to improve is the customer experience with vacasa call center. Our flight arrived before time and I called vacasa them to see if we can drop off the luggage at one of their offices /or any location. They said it is not possible until our check-in time. It wd be nice if the owners can list the name of the property manager ( I found out later by trying few times) on the listing or send us an email with that name. Once I found the propery mgr , he did try to help me as best he could. Also, though Vacasa have their own vans to shuttle people to Gondola, they said they do not serve this property so we had to use citi buses . Overall great property and I wd rent it again without a doubt.

Steamboat Condo good find!

This place was pretty perfect for a close by option. 4ish min walk to the bus stop, which took about 10-15 mins to get to the base of the my. And 5 mins or so to be dropped off at the end of the day. Beds were super comfy, and played a couple games that they had, along with enjoying sunsets off the balconies. Slight lack in communication with host, never was given the garage door access code or key to the side entrance till after check out, so slightly annoying but enjoyed the fact that it had a two car heated garage. Also no mini binder to help with little things like the bus routes or checkout instructions. We also weren’t provided any extra toilet paper upon arrival, but glad we were able to place a ticket. someone came with a couple rolls an hour or so later. I would recommend staying for location and great unit for 4 people. 6 would be tight. Loved the large kitchen (needs updated knives) comfy couch, and decor!

Condo rental

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We did not pay attention to wether air conditioned unit or not and when we got there the condo was over 90 inside. We did not expect that. We had to open the windows in all the rooms and put fans that were provided by the unit on the window. It did cool down in a few hours. The temperature was about upper 40s, so it was comfortable. We looked around and most of the area condos and townhomes did not have air-conditioning. maybe due to the area.

Great condo in a perfect location!

We had a fabulous time in this condo in Steamboat! The condo was clean, up to date, quiet, and very well stocked! So many restaurants close by, great bus stop to the slopes close to the unit, so many fun activities! We could not get ski passes, but were able to find many other activities that were COVID friendly. The location was fantastic. We definitely plan to return again!
