There are houses you stay in, and then there are houses you remember. The Burgundy Hummingbird belongs to the second category.

From the moment you walk through the door, the atmosphere does something to you. The colors are deep and deliberate - burgundy, dark wood, layered textures that feel like they were pulled from a world that doesn't quite exist on any map. The kind of place where someone looks around slowly on arrival, takes it all in, and says something out loud they didn't plan to.

The Bedrooms
Three bedrooms live on the upper level of this tri-level home. Each one carries the same intentional atmosphere as the rest of the house - rich tones, thoughtful details, the kind of darkness at night that makes sleep feel like the most natural thing in the world. There's enough separation between rooms that everyone gets their own corner of the house.

The fourth bedroom sits on the lower level, quieter and more private than the rest — ideal for a light sleeper, an older guest, or anyone who wants their own world within the house witha nextdoor downstairs bathroom.

The Downstairs Movie Room
This is the room that earns its keep on night one. The movie room is set up for proper cinematic watching - big screen, dark atmosphere, comfortable seating for the group. No matter if it's a marathon run of your favorite film series, a family movie night, or a late-night session after the pool, this room delivers.

The Backyard and Pool
The backyard is big — genuinely big, the kind where the whole group fits without anyone feeling crowded. The private pool anchors the outdoor space and runs open for the group from day one. There's room to grill, room to gather, and room to do nothing at all. On a warm Columbus evening, you won't want to come back inside.

Shuffleboard
The shuffleboard table is set up and ready to go. It's the kind of game that brings out everyone — competitive groups, casual players, people who've never played in their life but find themselves invested by round two.

Fort Benning is 14 minutes from the front door, making this a natural fit for military graduations, training cycles, and extended family visits. Uptown Columbus and the Chattahoochee RiverWalk are both an easy drive when the group wants to get out and explore.

PETS/SERVICE ANIMALS:
Our home is pet friendly and allows up to 2 pets We do not allow cats due to allergy concerns for future guests. Pets must be well behaved, non aggressive, under 50 lbs, and should not cause disturbances.

There is a non refundable pet fee of $100 per pet per stay for reservations up to one week, or $100 per pet per week for longer stays.

Please supervise pets at all times, clean up after them, use covers on furniture if needed, and note that any pet related damages may result in additional charges.

ISSUES DURING STAY:
So we can maintain a high standard throughout your stay and to help us address any concerns quickly and ensure the best experience possible, we kindly ask that any issues be reported during the guest’s stay. Any issues reported after stay can't be taken into consideration, as we won’t have the opportunity to assess or address them in real time.

TRASH DISPOSAL:
✤ All household trash must be disposed of in the black or brown bins only. Failure to do so will result in a $50 penalty. Blue bins are strictly for RECYCLING only.

SECURITY CAMERA:
✤ Any tampering with or covering of cameras compromises the security of the property, and if they are altered in any way, it may result in immediate cancellation of the booking without a refund.

SECURITY DEPOSIT:
✤ It will be returned after no damage is found. We may also charge an additional cleaning and damage fee if the repair and replacement is more than the said deposit amount.

NO UNREGISTERED GUESTS ALLOWED:
✤ We require that all guests must be declared, regardless of whether they are staying or just visiting. Staying guests must be registered and acknowledged. Failure to register or declare any guests will result in a penalty of $25 per guest, per day.

EXTRA GUEST FEE:
We charge extra guest fee beyond 8 people for $25/guest/night.

EARLY CHECK-IN / LATE CHECK-OUT:
Early Check-In: We charge $25 per hour for early check-ins.
Late Check-Out: We do our best to accommodate special requests. For late check-outs requested until 8 PM the day before check-out, a fee of $25 per hour will be charged. Any requests made after 8 PM the day before check-out, up to an hour before check-out, will incur a fee of $60/hr.

NO PARKING ON THE LAWN:
✤ Kindly avoid parking on the lawn, as it’s not permitted to help keep the property in great condition. We allow up to 4 cars to be parked at the property.

NO RVs ALLOWED:
✤ Please note that RVs, trailers, and oversized vehicles are not allowed on the driveway or along the street to ensure a smooth experience for everyone in the neighborhood.

EATING OR DRINKING:
✤ No eating or drinking in the bedrooms.

SMOKING:
✤ There is NO SMOKING of any kind inside the house. There will be a $150.00 smoking fee charged for smoking in the house.

DRUGS:
✤ If guests are suspected of carrying and/or using illegal drugs of any kind, the authorities will be engaged, and GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY AND IMMEDIATE CANCELLATION OF THE RESERVATION WITHOUT REFUND!

PARTIES:
✤ NOT ALLOWED and If guests are found to have had a party which results in extra cleaning, guests will be responsible for extra cleaning charges and in the unfortunate event of the disruptions alerting neighbors, GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO VACATE THE PROPERTY AND IMMEDIATE CANCELLATION OF THE RESERVATION WITHOUT REFUND!

QUIET HOURS:
✤ Please keep the noise to a minimum after 10:00 PM.

OUTSIDE SERVICES / VENDORS
Any outside services / vendors should be disclosed in advanced

TOWELS & LINENS:
We kindly ask that you help us maintain the quality of our linens and towels by using them with care. Please avoid staining them with makeup, hair dye, tanning products, wine, or food spills. For makeup removal, we recommend using personal wipes or designated products instead of towels. Towels are intended for drying off after showers and should not be used for cleaning spills, wiping floors, or as rags. To ensure all guests enjoy fresh and well-maintained linens, excessive staining or damage may result in a replacement fee.

ALTERATION REQUEST POLICY:
✤Guests must inform us of any alteration requests (shortening stay & decreasing guest count) at least one week before check-in. Regrettably, we will be unable to accommodate late requests. In such cases, we can provide a refund amounting to only 50% of the original refund amount.

LONG-TERM STAYS:
For stays of 30 days or more, bi-weekly cleaning is required to keep the property clean and well-maintained. Cleaning schedules will be arranged in advance, and the cost will be $230/cleaning.

OTHER:
✤ Charging electric vehicles using the property’s outlets is not allowed.
✤ Please do not re-arrange our furniture. We expect the accommodation is returned to us in the condition presented on arrival. Breakages or damages not caused by normal wear and tear (animal damage does not constitute normal wear and tear) will be charged to you.
✤Kindly refrain from using glitter, confetti, slime, or Play-Doh inside the property to maintain cleanliness and comfort for all guests.
✤We ask that you do not dye your hair or remove nail polish inside the home to avoid staining and damage to surfaces.

Guest registration is required for this property and includes signing a rental agreement, verifying a valid ID, and placing a $1,000 security hold (pending authorization only, not an actual charge).

As an alternative, guests may choose to purchase a non refundable $55 damage waiver for stays up to 10 nights instead of the security hold.

The process is completed through a secure, app free website that also provides access to a guest portal with home information and local recommendations.
