Around Paphos: The old town of Ktima Pafos is built on a high rock overlooking Kato Paphos. Paphos market is located here Monday to Saturday until 1.00 p.m. It's the place to buy souvenirs, traditional handmade lace, leather goods, and there are a variety of cafes for you to take a break in. The neighbourhoods are rich with colonial buildings and and there are several museums in the area. There is an old Turkish quarter which is worth a visit.
You may like to take a late afternoon walk along the coastal path to the picturesque harbour and promenade. There are plenty of shopping and dining here. Stop in one of the bars or cafés for a spot of people watching, before heading to one of the many superb restaurants for dinner.
