Tucked into the woods of the Mountainside Community on the quiet side of Deep Creek Lake, Paws & Peaks Lakeview Lodge is built for the kind of vacation you actually want - slow mornings with coffee on the deck, full days on the water or the slopes, and evenings around the fire pit with everyone you love (the four-legged ones included).

The views are genuinely stunning, especially at sunrise. The kitchen is fully stocked for the cook in the group. And we mean it about the dogs - they get the welcome treatment too, with towels at the door, bowls in the closet, blankets for the couch, and waste bags ready by the entry.

Our home is nestled in a wooded, natural setting which is part of what makes it so peaceful! Because of this, leaves and spider webs may return outdoors between our cleanings, even though our team sweeps them away before every check-in. We do our best to keep things tidy, but nature moves fast out here.

THE SPACE
Four bedrooms, three full baths, and room for 12 guests across two levels of mountain-lodge comfort:

Bedroom 4: Two double beds (great for the kids)

-Every room has its own mini-split for heating and cooling — set it to your liking and forget it.
-Bathrooms have baseboard heating for those crisp mountain mornings as a warm welcoming bonus.
-The basement bedroom has an electronic fireplace for extra coziness on winter nights.
-The kitchen has everything you need to cook a real dinner: pots, pans, full set of utensils, plates and glassware for a full house, drip coffee maker, K-Cup machine and a French press (we're coffee people, no judgment here).
-A dedicated workspace makes it easy to extend the trip into a Friday or steal an hour of work.

BRINGING YOUR DOG?
Dogs are family. We treat them like it:

-Towels at the door for muddy paws
-Food and water bowls + waterproof mat in the main closet
-Doggy blankets so they can curl up on the couch with you
-Waste bags at the entry for easy walks
-A leashed community with quiet roads, woods, and plenty to sniff

Pet fee is $100 per dog for the stay. Please let us know your pup is coming when you book.
