This home has a full kitchen that'll satisfy experienced cooks (instant pot, immersion blender, juicer, countertop convection oven — everything but dishwasher). Dine indoors or on the patio under the overhang. One guest chose to sleep outdoors under the stars!

Surrounded by meadows and large trees, Fort Travis is adjacent to a roundabout and main arterial off the island, making it super convenient but not a silent oasis in the middle of nowhere. There is minor road noise, which I liken to a babbling brook). A number of points of water access/view are walkable within 20 minutes.

A dog lives at Fort Travis but you might never know -- between the air filter and roomba. (Guests with housebroken pets welcome to enjoy).
