Fantastic apartment, great location, extremely clean and comfortable

Pros: Host was easily accessible and the apartment was very clean, spacious, safe and centrally located, despite its central location it was extremely quiet and ideal for family’s, couples or groups. Couldn’t recommend enough Cons: I believe it did say parking was provided on the advertisement but you have to park a good bit away depending on the time of day, that would be the only flaw as my mother is elderly.

Beautiful apartment well located

We have been going to Alvor for 9 years each summer and always visited the shop downstairs from the apartment - I didn’t realise the apartment even existed until now - it is presented to an excellent standard, has everything you need and even has a balcony with a view to the harbour. A real find and one we will hopefully return to. Thank you to the owner Mara who we have known for several years - she is a perfect host and makes the stay very comfortable. Thank you again Mara and we will see you again soon.

This is a lovely property which is in an excellent location and despite being in a very busy street full of restaurants, bars and shops which are all open late, is well sound proofed with the bedrooms at the back, resulting in no problems at all with noise. It is spotlessly clean, very well equipped and furnished. However there is one glaring problem. The listing clearly states 2 bathrooms. This is NOT the case. There is a lovely fully equipped shower room on the second floor adjacent to the bedroom but the so called bathroom on the first floor is not a bathroom. It has only a toilet and a very small wash hand basin, it is actually a cloakroom. Had we have known this, we would not have booked the property as one of our requirements is always to have two bathrooms. The listing needs to be very clear about this. The property is very good but needs clearly to state ONE bathroom and a cloakroom.

Thank you for your thoughtful review! We're delighted to hear you enjoyed the property, its location, and cleanliness. We appreciate your feedback regarding the bathroom situation. Our listing mentions one full bathroom and one cloakroom, which is also reflected in the photos. We noticed an error with the icons on VRBO that may have suggested otherwise, and we’re working with them to correct it. We understand how this could have caused confusion, and we truly regret any misunderstanding. Thank you for staying with us and for sharing your experience. Your feedback is invaluable, and we hope to welcome you back in the future! Best regards, Your Holidu Team.
