Berkeley is waiting for this delightful , sparkling delughtful and spacious apartment. Inside, guests find a cozy king bed in a luxurious master bedroom suite. We also have a queen bed in the large living room which may be converted to 2 single beds if desired., plus 2 additional single beds to make everyone comfortable. Even though there are enough beds for 6 guest, wthing it is mote ideal for 4 or 5 guests .The space includes two bathrooms, one with a shower, 2 sinks ,a toilet with exhaust fan and a bidet, perfect for refreshing after a day of exploring. Relax in the living room, enjoying a cozy fireplace and a large screen TV or if you need to catch up on work or reading? The spacious hallway features room for a child bed or crib (not provided but we could arrange for one for at least a 14 day stay)and a quiet atmosphere. Full size washer and dryer plus detergent and a refrigerator with an ice maker and water dispenser is also provided. Please note even-though that the kitchen sink faucet and the refrigerator are equipped with water filters, our water in Berkeley is quite good and perfectly safe for drinking. We are blesses with probably the best and purest water in California. You will even notice a district difference when you are taking a shower. The extra half a bath is in the spacious hallway offering privacy, a sink and a toilet with exhaust fan and a bidet This phenomenal apartment combines primarily safety, comfort and convenience, we do have a safe combination lock allowing you to enter your apartment anytime , please ask for the code ahead of time. This makes it specially convenient if you are arriving late at night. One important note, DO NOT LOCK THE LOWER LOCK as this makes it impossible for you to get back into your apartment . Please contact Jaleh or myself for normal arrival times as we love to welcome our guests upon their arrival. Jaleh and I are also available to answer any questions or respond to your requests while you stay at your home as we also live in one of the apartments incustom-beau custom home. It is good to know that we have sound insulation between the floors as well on side of your apartment. The majority of the furnitures and miscellaneous items are new. The large and comfortable dining set offers seating for 6 guests comfortably. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for preparing your desired meals. The huge deck offers San Francisco Bay Water Views plus a table and 4 chairs with cushions for your outdoor dining or enjoying a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. This also offers an opportunity to work on your electronic devices.This is a luxury large apartment that has been carefully designed for your real enjoyment while we are hosting you. All the wall decorations are original artwork and are painted by accomplished artists. In addition to the large view deck, you are welcomed to go down to the newly landscaped private backyard. You may relax there or even dine there as there is a large table and seats. If desired we will provide additional chairs for your comfort. There are beautiful decorative lights and even a fire pit. PLEASE EXERCISE EXTREME-CAUTION NOT TO START A FIRE IN THE BACKYARD. Another very important item to consider very seriously: AT NO TIME THE WROUGHT IRON GATE LEADING YOU TO THE FRONT DOOR OR TO THE STAIRCASE LEADING YOU TO THE BACKYARD SHOULD BE LEFT OPEN EVEN FOR 30 SECONDS. IF YOU LEAVE IT OPEN OUR BEAUTIFUL DEER IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD WILL CAUSE THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS WORTH OF DAMAGE.
This lovely apartment with separate entrance is part of our beautiful custom home which was totally gutted and updated a few years ago. The location is incredible as it is located within a 30 minutes' walk to the world-famous Gourmet Ghetto, extremely popular Cheeseboard Pizza Collectives which offers live music 5 days per week, (closed Sundays and Mondays)twice a day and also offers about 300 different types of cheeses from all around the world.. The world-famous Chez Panisse Restaurant by Alice Waters the renowned American Chef is in the heart of Gourmet Ghetto. Alice Water also established the vegetable garden for the First Lady Michelle Obama in The White House. The very first Gourmet Coffee house in America established by Mr. Peet is on Vine and Walnut which you could walk to , view this historic Peet’s Coffee shop which displays a lot of pictures so you may learn about how Gourmet Coffee came to this country.
Our home is surrounded by beautiful parks and gorgeous and unique homes. The 8 acres John Henkel Park is practically across from our home . The Indian Rock park is within a 5 minutes walk where you may climb a tall rock formation, at your risk of course.The Solano Avenue shops and boutiques are within a short walking distance. You can access buses by walking 5 minutes to Arlington Ave which can take you to many parts of East Bay Cities (as well as San Francisco but only during the week. North Berkeley or Downtown BART Stations are within a 10 minutes drive or you may take the buses to these stations. BART is our great transit system which can take you to many cities in S. F. Bay Area Cities . You may also take BART to San Francisco International Airport or Oakland International Airport.
You are within a 30-minutes' drive to San Francisco (if there is no traffic) and within a 60 minutes' drive to the world-famous Napa Valley and Sonoma Valley where you can visit some fantastic wineries and fabulous restaurants. This apartment is ideal for visiting scholars and professors from all over the world as it is close to the world class University of California but all other guests will find it very suitable and will enjoy a very memorable stay. North Berkeley is a favorite Mecca for the Epicureans as you will find some of the best restaurants and unique foods close by offering many varieties of foods from all over the world. When it comes to the most unique grocery store, you must visit Berkeley Bowl which has a huge selection of fresh produce, not to be found anywhere else in San Francisco Bay Area, as well as ready to eat foods and baked goods.
