Bonita is an amazing host! The cottage is very cute, clean, and well stocked. The view of the lake is gorgeous. It is a steep walk to the dock but well worth it.You just can’t beat it!! We plan on returning.

We had an amazing stay at this property! The house was spotless and had everything we needed, plus more. The view from the back porch was gorgeous! We enjoyed the lake and had a great time on the kayaks and paddle boards. There were even doggy ramps that made for easy in and out of the lake for our lab. They thought of everything. Bonita was a great host and we hope to return for another wonderful visit soon!

We stayed with our 2 kids and dog, had a great time! The house is very clean with all the essentials you need. The views from the porch and dock are gorgeous and very peaceful. We spent all day out there swimming and using the different water activities they had. Bonita even went above and beyond for us when she found out my pup hurt himself. Will definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at Bonita's Lake Keowee house! With three kids, we had plenty of room. Access to the lake, with paddle boards, kayaks, and a paddle boat, along with beautiful views from the back porch made the trip. Highly recommend!

The cottage is new and spotless. The location on the lake is a beautiful cove. Plenty of view and water but so much more private and quiet than an open water area. This is the most dog friendly VRBO in which we have stayed. The host lives nearby and is helpful and attentive. The dock is equipped with every water toy you can imagine. If you have limited mobility, be aware the driveway and walk down to the dock are unavoidably steep.

Beautiful, peaceful lakefront retreat in a clean & modern home. The dock provided shade & the water was clear dark green. The dock is a steep walk down the hill on a paved path. Front deck has a grill and great view. Lovely kind hosts. Thank you for sharing your cottage with us.

Amazing house on a lake ! New, clean , excellent AC! Owners live next door and are always available to help. John gave us a tour on his boat around the lake and kids did wake boarding , which was super fun. The lake dock is well equipped with different water devices. A Steep driveway and a steep walkway to the lake from the house .

We had a good time at the lake house. The house and beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the outside shower and all the toys at the lake. I particularly enjoyed letting the dogs out into the enclosed side yard and not having to put their leashes on. The host Bonita was helpful and friendly.As a previous review stated, the slope on the driveway and the walkway are somewhat steep. This was a bit challenging for us as seniors. Overall great!

The home was gorgeous and clean with a clear view of the lake from the house deck. The host and hostess were welcoming and responded quickly to any issues. The hill to the dock was steep but doable and the ability to swim off the dock was as advertised (clean and deep). We enjoyed the paddle boat and the cozy sitting area dockside. My husband enjoyed practicing his putting at the putting green in the yard. We loved sitting on the house deck to watch the afternoon thunderstorm. Grocery stores, restaurants and gas are reasonably accessible. I would not advise for anyone who is mobility impaired but would definitely recommend to anyone else. We would go back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and felt very well cared for. The two-bedroom layout worked great for our family, and it had everything we needed for a relaxing few days at the lake.The views were beautiful, and we spent a lot of time enjoying the peaceful water and dock area. It’s a great spot for anyone who enjoys being on the lake.The only thing future guests should know is that the walk down to the dock is fairly steep. It wasn’t a problem for us, but it could be challenging for anyone with mobility concerns.Overall, a wonderful lake getaway. We would absolutely stay here again.

The home is brand new and is lovely, clean, well decorated and comfortable. The views are great especially on the patio. Bonita is very responsive especially when we thought we were lost. Please review her directions on how to access the house since your app will not get you there. Once there make sure you understand how steep the house driveway is and also the walkway to the dock. I am in great shape and had to be careful going up and down, as other reviews indicated if older or have mobility issues be careful. We were house hunting in Lake Keowee so many properties are steep to get down to the water so this is the norm in the area. I would stay here again during our next trip to house hunt and the lake water is so clear and it is a beautiful lake. We cooked at the house which has great cookware, plates, and a great grill.

There were 4 adults (27 - 84 yrs) and two pets in our party. This was our first trip to the Lake Keowee area and this property did not disappoint. Definitely a place to unplug & unwind. The house was exceptionally clean and well laid out w/plenty of linens, towels, blankets & pillows. Each bedroom is very large, offering additional space. The kitchen is well stocked including waffle maker, blender, toaster oven, Tupperware etc. The fridge is equipped with ice maker and filtered water. Coffee bar was great with snacks and coffee to get you started. The covered deck was where we spent the most time, with plenty of seating and amazing view. Very quiet and relaxing. more features and amenities added than what was shown in the listing when we booked. There is a putting green, Corn Hole, football, frisbee, firepit & two more paddle boards and a large float mat down off the dock and fantastic spot to hang out on the water. The water is clean, clear and like glass most of the time, so kayaking, using the paddle boat and just floating was wonderful. There are even two doggy step floats for your furry friends to get in and out of the water. yes, the driveway is steep and you will find most properties around the lake have steep driveways, as well as steep walkways down to the water, but manageable. Bonita's exceptional hospitality and her attention to detail with added personal touches for her guests and fur babies says a lot. Thank you!

Such a great little lake house! It was well stocked, the owners were friendly and helpful, and there was so much to do without even leaving the property.We enjoyed the lake views from the deck, the putting green, and all the water toys - kayaks, paddle boards, trampoline, and fishing rods. Even the dogs had a ramp to help them out of the water. The fenced side yard and outdoor shower were also super convenient for the dogs. It’s a perfect pet-friendly spot on the lake for a small group. We had a great time, and would definitely stay here again!

The home was lovely!! Equipped with all you may need. It is peaceful and secluded without being too far from from the grocery store, gas station, etc. Just in case :) As other reviews mention, the driveway is quite steep and intimidating. I didnt have any issues in my vehicle (all wheel drive, 4 cylinder) but the host offered to shuttle my friends and I and accommodated our parking without hesitation. We had a great time swimming, paddle boarding, and kayaking!

The house and property are both beautiful and serene. The dock is a comfortable place to gather while you swim and getting into the water is easy and really enjoyable. While my wife and daughter are more ocean people, Lake Keowee reaffirms that a mountain lake is for me. The newly constructed house is very comfortable and the view of the lake from the porch is really impressive. Seeing wildlife like deer while watching the sun rise from the porch and blue heron while swimming were definite highlights of our stay. Contact the host before you go to get specific information about how to navigate the driveway and parking especially if you are not used to driving on hills. But you will get used to it in no time.

Three adults and 4 children ranging from 11-19 and two dogs stayed comfortably. We had a blast on the dock with all the water toys. Our lab didn’t want to leave lol. Lake Keowee is beautiful. The house was clean and beautiful and had pretty much everything we needed. The only negative we had was pretty much what some other recent reviews said about the steep driveway and walk to the lake. We understand it’s the norm for Lake Keowee but we weren’t aware of that beforehand. However, even my 72 year old mother managed to walk up and down carefully several times each day.
