You'll have your very own cove on Moosehead Lake at this Greenville home, a dog-friendly retreat with a private dock, a pebble beach that's ideal for swimming, and a picnic area and enclosed porch at the water's edge.

You'll find this home just 20 feet from a small, protected cove on the southern shores of Moosehead Lake. Swim with your children at the private pebble beach (protected by a breakwater of rocks), board your fishing boat at the cement docking area (for small-to-medium-size boats), and find an ATV trailhead in Greenville Junction less than a mile south.

Step inside to enjoy a classic home with lofty ceilings, free WiFi, and a gas fireplace. Pick summer blueberries to use in homemade pancakes (please note that the kitchen has an electric stove and a convection-enabled microwave, but no oven), gather for family barbecues around the outdoor picnic table, and feel the warmth of the sun in the enclosed, lake-facing porch. Your dogs are welcome to join you. This home has a washing machine but no dryer.

Wonderful Moosehead Lake Retreat

Wonderful house with everything you need for a visit to Moosehead Lake. Well appointed. Beautiful view and little private area to watch the sky change over the lake. We will definitely return and you will not be disappointed if you rent this house!

beautiful waterfront area

I wish we had been warned that you can't drink the water because of high iron count! I had to run down to Indian Hill market for gallon jugs of water. The beds were old, creaky and uncomfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and the grill outside was clean. The waterfront area was peaceful, and we enjoyed sitting and relaxing by the water.

Beautiful Place to Stay

Beautiful place to stay on the lake. Greenville has the nicest people on earth. It truly felt like a home away from home. This property was well stocked and my husband loved the comforter. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space. My favorite part was the dock area and sitting by the water. My son went for a swim even though the water was cold. Thanks for sharing this beautiful place with us.

I had such a wonderful stay at this cabin. I went for some quiet time with my dog, and it was exactly what I needed. She absolutely loved it, especially the easy access to the water.The cabin was very clean, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and it had everything you could need, pillows, quilts, shower essentials, kitchen utensils, and more.There are neighbors on both sides, but the trees provide so much privacy that it still feels very secluded. There is normal Moosehead Lake activity with boats, jet skis, planes, and a train that passes once or twice a day, which I feel added to the charm.My dog and I also took a long walk through the neighborhood, and everyone we encountered was very friendly. Vehicles slowed down and were very respectful, which made it feel like such a nice, welcoming area.We never turned on the TV, played music, or even made phone calls. It was just peaceful time by the water, which was wonderful.The owner was extremely responsive and very understanding when I accidentally damaged something during my stay. I truly appreciated how kind they were about it.I would absolutely stay here again

Wonderful cottage with lake views and access

Quaint, lovely cottage with plenty of privacy and lots of space for hanging out by the lake, swimming and boating. We took 2 teenagers and they had a blast. Very close to hiking, shops, etc.
