I booked this house for a girls’ trip with 4 friends. We were a little hesitant since it was new to VRBO with no reviews, but we’re glad we took a chance. The house was fully renovated, spacious, and very clean.The bedrooms were roomy, including the queenbunk room, with plenty of storage space in closets & bathrooms. The ceiling fans in every bedroom and the living room were a huge plus. (They should be required in Texas!)The kitchen and common area were bright, open, and spacious. They had some paper goods, foil, and plastic wrap, plus both a drip coffeemaker and Keurig with a handful of starter K-cups. Bring your own coffee and filters if your group drinks multiple pots. The fridge didn’t appear to be connected to the water line, so you’ll need to bring water and ice. The living room sofa was very comfortable for movie watching, though additional comfy seating would be a nice upgrade for larger groups. The outdoor space was the highlight. The deck is huge, and it overlooks a peaceful cove with a partial lake view. There’s a covered dining area with ceiling fans. The pool was perfect for our group, with a nice mix of sun and shade. The deck had a wonderful morning breeze—perfect spot for a cup of coffee! Booking was smooth overall. We had a minor issue with the door code at check-in due to a mix up, but the owner quickly resolved it remotely and was very friendly. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend this place!
