We had a wonderful stay in Seal Harbor. The apartment was perfect! The access to the park was amazing. It was nice to have a restaurant right next door.

Very nice property and location for the price. You get natural sunlight in the bathroom. It can be a little warm, but they do provide to AC units and a fan to help quickly cool it down. We look forward to renting here again.

We had such a wonderful stay! It was the perfect space for me, my husband, and our 10-month-old baby. We wanted to stay in a quiet area near Bar Harbor, and this location was exactly what we were looking for. The space was beautifully decorated with such a cozy Maine feel, and we loved all the thoughtful details throughout the home. We used the second bedroom for our baby, which worked out perfectly. The area was peaceful and quiet, while still being a convenient drive to Bar Harbor. We also accidentally left our baby monitor behind, and the host reached out to me and shipped it back to us. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back!

The apartment was great for what we needed! Only downside was that due to being directly under the roof in the second floor of an older building, it was quite hot during the daytime (the AC units are only in the bedrooms). Regardless it was a great little place!

Nice overall and well maintained. However, we had trouble finding the place using GPS, as the listing says it’s in “Mount Desert”. It was noisy in the morning being next to the post office. Parking is real confusing, especially in the dark. I had problems with the non-standard light switches. A trundle bed is not ideal for 2 adults.

Beautiful apartment, comfortable bed (bedroom faces the street), and great shower. Nice location near Lighthouse Restaurant. Kitchen has new utensils and plenty of cookware for making meals, just make sure to bring spices and extra coffee. Also, there is no hair dryer. Would stay here again.

Feedback:Loved the location. Convenient to the beach and bike rental shop. Easy drive to Bar Harbor.The kitchen is well equipped for quick meals, but there is no dishwasher. Small Safety issue - A light is needed by the front door near the entrance so that the dark staircase can be safely navigated at dark. It was hard to see.Bathroom:Towel bar kept falling apart. One end bracket was very loose and needed to be re attached. The plumbing fixture over the sink was too large, A nice design but such a large size fixture over the sink made it hard to use the sink.Main bedroom:The top dresser drawer is broken. Suggest they invest in some sturdier furniture.The deck is not accessible from the unit. You have to exit the unit downstairs walk to the rear of the unit and climb a flight of stairs to access the deck. By and large, I really liked our little abode!

The manager wouldn't send the check-in information until late in the day, and I had to double back to get cell phone reception to get the details and the door lock number. I requested this information several times on the day of check-in, so it was frustrating. It seemed like we were the first people to stay there after a fresh makeover, and there was no hot water for the shower the first morning there. They resolved it by that afternoon. The apartment was nice, clean, and well done, and except for these issues, I'd recommend it.

There was confusion with the guest communicating via Email while we were on the App that caused a delay on the day of Check-In but they were assisted once they reached out and called. The Hot Water Issue was resolved right away on the first night and we issued a partial refund as an apology for the inconvenience,

Everything we needed and more!This was a great location and great space. It was well stocked and very nice. There is a beach a short walk away and bike rental and Gelato right next door. We loved it and would stay there again

As a self proclaimed persnickety person, I couldn’t find fault with anything! From booking to check out, everything went extremely smoothly. The Notebook is just far enough away from the maddening crowds of Bar Harbor but is extremely close to an entrance to Acadia that takes you right to the best attractions without traffic and to what felt like a private beach. The apartment was bright, clean and well appointed. Communication with Maebeth Property was unparalleled. My questions were addressed almost immediately. I highly recommend The Notebook and extend my thanks to Maebeth for making our experience so pleasurable.
