Ahoy! Nice to meet you, my wife and I are delighted to accommodate you! Mermaid Cove is a fully enclosed Florida style Tropical getaway in a quiet little neighborhood in Historical old Savannah Georgia. Yard approx. Square Footage = 884 ft Tropical adventure awaits in this unique themed experience, why do boring? Stay near everything.

Our renovated early 1963 Frolic Travel Trailer 'Mermaid Manor' (aprox. 115 sq feet) is fully furnished, featuring 1 small Queen sized bed that makes for an excellent retreat for the single traveler or a couple. *Our New recently constructed Full Restroom is now complete and ready.

Utilities and Cleaning fee are included in price.

Location is 2- 3 min within walking distance of several restaurants, shops and grocery stores. Some of which include Wholefoods (Aprox. 3 min walk), Aldi (Aprox. 2 min walk), Wholefoods (Approx. 3 min walk) , iHop (Aprox. 2 min) , Daves Hot Chicken (Aprox. 2 min walk), Target (Aprox. 5 min walk), Cava (Aprox. 3 min walk), Chase Bank (Aprox. 2 min walk), Bank of America (Aprox. 6 min walk) and more. Daffin Park ( Home of the popular Savannah Bananas Baseball team) and other attractions are within a 4 min walk.

We are also located near the Seaside, only a 12 minute drive to Tybee Island, our local beach and a 8 min drive (12 min. Bike ride), to the heart of the Savannah's Historic District. Savannah's historical district is also quite bike friendly. Thunderbolt Georgia, Savannah's Shrimp Boat haven is just a short hop away. Including the inter-coastal Waterway (Aprox. 13 min via Bicycle)

Amenities include: Microwave, Small Refrigerator, Full Toilet (External), Travel Toilet (Interior), Deluxe Hot-plate, Coffee Maker, Hot Shower (Exterior), Wifi, Heat and AC. *The External Toilet and Shower rooms are heated during colder days.

One bicycle is also available for rental on site. Our space is not in a position to accommodate pets.

I stayed at mermaid cove. It was a trip back in time as I remember camping in these with my grandma and grandpa. Megan is an awesome host. I had to check in very late and she was so nice and accommodating. The bed was super comfy and I was pleasantly surprised to hear able to crash out by watching a movie. The shower - it’s so kool! It was kinda outside but not really… very clean with a neat wood finish for the bathroom and shower. Megan had plenty of coffee in the morning and I woke up right in beautiful Savannah. Had Collins Corner? I think? For breakfast - very good. Just seeing old Savannah made it worth it. Kool place!

My partner and I had a great weekend stay at Mermaid Manor. The very cozy vintage travel trailer is in fine period condition. The bed is snug but plenty comfortable. Whimsical nautical decorations and details are plentiful throughout the interior of the trailer, as well as the enclosed patio and attached toilet and shower. This is an urban glamping experience for travelers who appreciate out of the ordinary lodging. Mermaid Manor is located in a quiet residential neighborhood with convenient street parking right outside the property's separate entrance. We found it ideal for exploring the area around Forsyth Park and further south, though the main downtown district is within a 15-minute drive.Dame and Jay, our hosts, were ready to greet us and show us around when we arrived. They were easy to contact, both before and during our stay, and were never intrusive.

Only a three minute walk to popular restaurants and stores. Also just a three minute walk to the famous Savannah Bananas Stadium. During Summer months the Bananas put on a Fireworks display which can be viewed from the Cove also!

A tropical adventure awaits in this unique themed experience—why stay somewhere boring? Our renovated 1960s-era travel trailers are fully furnished, making them an excellent retreat for a single traveler or a couple.


The location is within a 2 to 3-minute walk of several restaurants, shops, and grocery stores. These include Aldi (2 min), Whole Foods (3 min), IHOP (2 min), Dave’s Hot Chicken (2 min), Target (5 min), Cava (3 min), Chase Bank (2 min), and Bank of America (6 min). Daffin Park, home of the popular Savannah Bananas Baseball team, and other attractions are within a 4-minute walk.

We are also located near the seaside, only a 12-minute drive to Tybee Island, our local beach, and an 8-minute drive (or 12-minute bike ride) to the heart of Savannah's Historic District. The area is very bike-friendly.

Our space is designed for solo travelers and to accommodate those who may have allergies; therefore, we do not allow pets. It is very comfortable for singles and couples, but please note there is not enough space to accommodate families. A second bed can be set up on request at the time of arrival.

The average price of a hotel room in Savannah is approximately $203–$204 per night. Rates vary by season and location, typically ranging from $150 to $300. Budget-friendly 2-star hotels average $111, while 4-star hotels in the Historic District average around $293–$335 per night.
