Wake up with coffee and watch the fog lift over the mountains, spend the day exploring everything the area has to offer, then come home and settle in by the floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace.

THE HOME

The main living room is the heart of the house, with soaring ceilings, comfortable seating, a beautiful stone fireplace and oversized windows that make the most of the incredible scenery.

The home has 3 bedrooms, a bonus sleeping room and 3.5 bathrooms, comfortably sleeping up to 8 guests. With plenty of room to spread out, it works especially well for families, two families traveling together or a group of friends.

A large second den offers another gathering space and includes a bar area with a sink and mini fridge, perfect for movie nights, games or hanging out after a day outdoors.

The home also includes a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, fast WiFi, and plenty of onsite parking.

HIKING & SKIING IN FALL AND WINTER

Southern Vermont and the surrounding area offer miles of beautiful hiking trails, from easy scenic walks to more challenging mountain hikes. Fall brings incredible foliage and mountain overlooks, while winter opens up opportunities for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.

For downhill skiing, several mountains are within driving distance:

• Mount Snow – 22 miles
• Stratton Mountain Resort – 38 miles
• Berkshire East – skiing and winter activities
• Prospect Mountain – cross-country skiing and winter trails

Guests can also snowshoe and explore the property’s 24 private acres.

The area offers kayaking and other seasonal outdoor activities as well. Stamford Valley Golf Course, a scenic 9-hole course, is just around the corner, and the 18-hole Haystack Golf Course is a short drive away.
