This house was everything we wanted and more. Sitting on the deck watching the humpbacks migrate through was magical. Soaking in the view from the hot tub was so relaxing. Close proximity to shopping, restaurants and tide pools. Perfect for 2 people. We will definitely be back. I even brought my massage table. It was awesome.

The view was outstanding! The cottage was clean, and the hosts were accessible if needed. Our only suggestion, not a complaint, is that the kitchen and bathroom are extremely dated. An upgrade would make this property unmatched! One other, although minor suggestion is to provide better towels.Sometimes owners put their leftover furniture from their home in their rental, that’s what the bedroom felt like. The living room and dining room were very nice. And, the deck chairs were perfect.

We stayed at the Cove House to celebrate my wife's birthday. In our opinion, the property is even better in person than the listing presented. The view from the deck is awesome! The extra large hot tub was a pure delight! We watched migrating Gray whales, pelicans, and sea lions play in the cove! The host made certain that every need was attended to. They have us recommendations on places to eat and have coffee. We absolutely love the Gualala area! The Cove House is a perfect, cozy cottage! We wished we had time to stay longer, but we will return!

You have to be patient with the lockset at the front door, giving it time to process the numbers you punch in.Other than that, the Cove is charming and convenient, with instant hot water, a fully equipped kitchen and all the natural light you could hope for.The bed is so cozy and the chairs on the deck are so comforable, we stayed outside to watch the pelicans migrate for hours, soaking in the amazing scent of the ocean. We would go back in an instant!

The cove house was perfect for a getaway to the coast for me and my wife. Communication was excellent and helpful through our stay.It is well equipped, we bought groceries in town and were able to enjoy our meals with a great view on the deck overlooking the cove. One of our days a school of whales showed up in the distance blowing their blow hole making them easy to identify as they slapped their tails. The Hot tub was a nice treat as evenings cooled.Location was great, we loved swimming in the Pacific at Hearn Gulch coastal access just up the road and took some beautiful coastal hikes in Sea Ranch at each of the Public access points. Would certainly stay again next time in northern CA

Perfect spot

This place was perfect for my husband and I to celebrate our anniversary! Great views, close to restaurants and shops, and many great trails to explore. I would definitely come stay here again. Clean place, plenty of blankets, everything we needed.
