The Space:

Nestled in the forest, this classic log cabin will offer you easy access to the nearby Sandy River. Here you can spend your days hiking, mountain biking, skiing, snowshoeing, or simply relaxing in an Adirondack around the home's outdoor fire pit. The log cabin's interior is warm and cozy and includes a beautiful staircase made from natural logs. The centerpiece of the living area is a large stone fireplace where you can warm up after you return home from the day's adventures. The updated kitchen has stainless steel appliances (including a dishwasher) to use when you're not trying out one of the local restaurants or taverns. Outside, you'll find a gas grill and picnic table for al fresco meals, a hammock to nap in after your meal, and a firepit to gather around as the stars come out. Easy access off highway and close to trails, cabin was beautiful, clean and had nice updates in kitchen, comfy bed. Perfect, cozy, romantic space with a partner. Cons: shower heads were old and kitchen was well stocked except for something basic we needed; measuring spoons.

This home was peeve t for what we were looking for. Beautiful inside and out, very clean and quiet, and close to river access. The beds were very comfortable and the layout was very spacious. We would definitely stay here again.

Overall, it was a great “cabin” stay. It was exactly what I wanted. The furniture and decor was perfect. The upstairs layout was different, but we made it work. Couldn’t figure out how to get the upstairs ceiling fan to work, made a note should be added for the next guests. There were lots of amenities that we didn’t take advantage of, but would have been nice if we spent more time in the cabin (games, movies, books and kitchen goods). The shower products were great! Would book again if in the area.

Rustic but super clean and super cute. Exactly what we wanted! Enjoyed sitting out by the fireplace. Do yourself a favor and buy Magic Fire packets from the local gas station. Worth it!

I was not able to use the bonfire because of fire restrictions but I know it would have been a nice evening. I relied on google to find a waterfall but it was unsuccessful. Use the notes from the booklet. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Title says it all. If you want internet access, don't count on it (not even cell service), and if it's going to be hot be warned there is no AC. Other than that, a pleasant cabin near lots of amenities. A bit expensive for what it is though.

Great stay...Great beds!

The cabin was perfect for what we needed. It was over 100 degrees for 2 of our days - but we kept the windows and blinds closed during the day and opened all the windows in the evening. Ceiling fans helped and we brought 2 box fans. All was well. The small table fan in the queen bed room seems to have problems - it took a long time to get moving. Perhaps it needs replacing. The log stairs were beautiful but somewhat awkward to use for older folks. Thanks for the fun stay!

Fun time, messy place.

I enjoyed my stay but a few things did leave us hurt; there’s a place on the floor in-between the closet bedroom, main bedroom and bathroom that I cut myself on (I believed it’s the carpet staples) so just a fair warning for that! My diabetic friend that was with us dropped their insulin needle which resulted in us needing to move the dresser which we found a container of Parmesan cheese that was making a really odd smell in that room. There was a few issues I privately chatted with the owner about as well involving cleaning standards. All n all I am super pleased with the home itself and we had a wonderful time, I just wish the cleaning and safety standards were higher because we would love to book here again!
