The Space:

Come home to this modern house with spectacular views of the Columbia River Gorge. Perfect for groups that want a little more room to spread out, this scenic retreat is comprised of a separate home and studio, each furnished with standalone home essentials and fully renovated for modern living. On summer days, you'll be busy searching for waterfalls, kayaking, paddling, fishing, hiking, or exploring nearby state parks. Winters are best spent enjoying a variety of snow sports on Mt. Hood, just 60 miles away. Take a trip into central Stevenson, within a mile, there are many restaurants, breweries, cafés, and shops.



Inside the upper home, you can enjoy the vaulted ceiling that lets in lots of natural light and the open, updated kitchen equipped with all new stainless steel appliances. Spend your evenings on one of the decks to watch the beautiful sunset over the mountain and take in the overlook of the almighty Columbia River. Smart TVs on each floor provided flexible entertainment. The studio also includes a convenient full kitchen. Both bathrooms are heated and are also equipped with warming towel racks for added home comfort.

Nice place for family stay when attending an event at Skamania Lodge. Loved having a view of the river, comfortable beds, coffee and coffee makers, ping pong table provided entertainment, and you can walk into town and down to the river.

Clean and Thoughtfull Amenities

You wont find a cleaner vacation rental. New amenities with modern remodel that must have been finished last week due to all the newness of things. Flexible sleeping possibilities was a real plus for my family. Property has good upstairs and backyard views.

Modern & Beautiful Place, with opportunity to improve

The home is very clean, almost brand new, with modern features and the bonus of having heated floors in the bathrooms. Nice view from the deck. However, it's a not comfortable setup to relax. Really needs to have better seating in the living room. The living room has two uncomfortable chairs. Also, the air conditioning is not available throughout the upper floor. And, with no screens in the front bedroom to allow air to flow, it's uncomfortable when it's hot out. Recommend that additional information is available about how to operate the air conditioning, especially in the studio. We could not figure out the digital pad in the studio.
