In winter, the lake transforms into one of the best ice fishing destinations in the state. Resort and public trails run through the property whenever you feel like stretching your legs.

Your Boat Club at Del Mar Dunes Marina (on-site) — Rent a boat right from the resort’s own marina, no membership required. Your Boat Club offers daily and multi-day rentals for fishing, tubing, cruising, and exploring the lake at your own pace. Just show up and go.
Fishing and Boating (5 min) — Garrison Sports offers guided launch boat fishing for groups of all sizes, and Tutt’s Bait and Tackle has kayak and boat rentals along with all the gear you’ll need on the water.
Hiking and Nature (14 min) — Kathio State Park is just down the road with hiking trails, historic sites, nature programs, cross-country skiing, and a 100-foot fire tower worth the climb.
