The Space:

Welcome to Orca Pod — a brand-new (2026) island retreat tucked away on one of Florida’s most coveted and untouched destinations: North Captiva Island. From the moment you arrive, this home sets the tone for an unforgettable escape. Spend your days floating in the sparkling private pool, mixing drinks at the outdoor bar, or cruising the island on fat-tire bikes with the ocean breeze at your back. Evenings are made for gathering — think alfresco dinners under swaying palms, laughter echoing from outdoor family games, and sunsets that seem to last forever.



Inside, the home feels effortlessly elevated yet inviting. The open-concept living space is bright, airy, and designed for connection — whether you’re cooking together, sharing meals, or simply unwinding after a beach day. When it’s time to recharge, the primary suite offers a true sense of retreat. Sink into the king bed after a long day in the sun, or unwind in the spa-inspired ensuite with a deep soaking tub and walk-in shower. The two guest bedrooms, each with a queen bed, provide a comfortable and stylish space for friends or family, with a shared bathroom finished to the same high standard — quartz surfaces, designer tile, and thoughtful details throughout.



Step outside to the covered upper deck and you’ll find one of the home’s most memorable spaces. With seating for six, and views of the pool surrounded by lush tropical greenery, it’s the perfect setting for slow mornings with coffee or relaxed dinners as the island breeze rolls through.

The entire property is yours. All exclusively for your group. No shared spaces, no strangers. Just your own private island compound.

North Captiva Island is accessible by boat or seaplane only. Water taxi and ferry services run regularly from Pine Island, St. James City, and nearby marinas. Golf cart rentals are available on the island and highly recommended — we'll share our go-to contacts after booking.

Getting Around:

- North Captiva Island is car-free — and honestly, that's part of the charm. No traffic, no noise, just the sound of the Gulf and the rustle of palms. Orca Pod comes with two brand-new 4-seater golf carts, so getting around is effortless from the moment you arrive. Zip to the beach, cruise over to a waterfront restaurant, or explore the island's winding paths at your own pace — the carts are yours for the entire stay.

- For two-wheeled adventures, two fat-tire beach cruisers are also included and perfect for exploring the quieter paths around the island.

- Getting to North Captiva requires a short boat ride — and it's all part of the experience. Water taxi and ferry services run regularly from Pine Island, St. James City, and nearby marinas. We'll share our recommended services and all the logistics you need after booking to make your arrival seamless. Most guests tell us the boat ride over is when the vacation truly begins.

- Island access: Boat or seaplane required — no cars, no bridges. Water taxi services from Pine Island and nearby marinas run regularly. We'll share all logistics upon booking.

- Golf carts: Two 4-seaters are included with your stay — no need to rent or worry about availability. On North Captiva, this is an invaluable perk.

- The pool is private and exclusively yours.

- North Captiva is rich with wildlife — dolphins, sea turtles, osprey, and more are regular visitors. Embrace the magic.

- The home is elevated (typical of island construction), with the main living area upstairs and the entertainment zone, pool, and game area at ground level below.

- There are exterior security cameras, including 1 above the garage door and 1 on the front porch. Both face the exterior of the home.

Before your arrival we'll send you everything you need — detailed check-in instructions, our recommended water taxi contacts, recommended grocery services, and our personal guide to the best spots on North Captiva and the surrounding islands.

- When you arrive on island, we'll be there to meet you at the dock — we'll help with your luggage and bring you and your group directly to Orca Pod in the golf carts so you can settle in without a second of stress. It's the kind of welcome that sets the tone for the whole trip.
