Set on a secluded five-acre cove with 2.2 acres above water, guests can enjoy direct backyard access to the lake along with kayaks and fun lake toys for days spent on the water. Water access is typically available from April through October, with the lake reaching its full summer pool from May through August, creating the perfect setting for swimming, kayaking, and paddling right outside your door. As lake levels lower in the fall and winter months, the scenery transforms into a peaceful mountain retreat, with stunning fall foliage lighting up the surrounding ridges and cozy evenings spent enjoying hot cocoa by the fire. During the quieter winter season, guests can escape the holiday rush and experience the beauty of a true winter wonderland, where the exposed lakebed invites exploration and the chance to discover unique treasures left behind by the lake. Guests can launch the provided kayaks, including two adult kayaks and one child kayak for guests under 100 pounds, float the afternoon away on lake toys such as floating mats, number floats, and adult-size tubes, or relax by the shoreline while enjoying peaceful lake views from the hammocks or woven chair swing. During the off season, the lower lake levels reveal the unique landscape of the exposed lake bed, creating a fun area to explore along the shoreline. The property features approximately 787 feet of shoreline access, with stairs leading down toward the lake and the fire pit area, making it easy to enjoy outdoor fun and cozy evenings under the stars. For outdoor fun, you can explore the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, where you can hike to waterfalls, horseback ride through valleys, picnic by a river, and fly fish! Once the thrills and adventure are over, visit the Tanger Outlets and local boutiques, where you can shop until you drop. Enjoy local cuisine, from southern family-style restaurants to chef-cooked meals at dinner time. After dinner, you can find a sweet shop on every corner to satisfy that sweet tooth before returning to the property.

Lake Special Note:
Water levels vary throughout the year. During winter, the water is drained, and beginning in April, it starts to fill. By the end of May, it is completely filled.

4pm - There is NO check-in office; you go straight to the cabin. Once all your payments have been made, we will send you an email with the door code & we will resend it a week before your stay.
