Casa Flora ist eine komplette kleine Zwei-Zimmer-Wohnung direkt am Taos Plaza und in der Nähe von allem Taos bietet.
Betreten Sie einen gemauerten Innenhof mit blühenden Blumen und einem Sitzbereich im Freien für ein abendliches Glas Wein oder eine Tasse Kaffee am Morgen.
Casa Flora verfügt über ein Wohnzimmer / Küche, die komfortabel und einladend ist. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet für zu Hause und bietet Platz für vier Personen. Das Wohnzimmer Sofa ist ein Doppelschlafsofa für zwei zusätzliche Gäste oder Kinder. Das Zimmer ist mit einem Gas-Holzofen beheizt und das Oberlicht bietet wunderbare Taos Licht.
Das Schlafzimmer verfügt über ein Queensize-Bett mit hochwertigen Betten, gute Leselampen, gemütliche Bademäntel und einen charmanten Gaskocher mit einer dekorativen Fliesenverkleidung.
Das Bad hat eine geflieste Dusche und viele Handtücher und Toilettenartikel. Lass deinen Haartrockner zu Hause.
Das Casa Flora befindet sich in einem Gebäude aus Lehmziegeln, das in den 1880er Jahren erbaut wurde. Es verfügt über Holzböden, handgehämmerte Deckenbalken und viele Fenster mit mehreren Fenstern. 14 'dicke Adobe Wände sorgen für Winterwärme und Sommerkühle. Alle Fenster sind mit perfekter Privatsphäre und Sicherheit abgeschirmt. Es gibt einen Deckenventilator in der Küche und einen anderen im Schlafzimmer. Ich biete auch einen Sumpfkühler für den Fall, dass Sie während unserer (glücklicherweise kurzen) Sommerhitze bleiben.
Casa Flora ist mit Antiquitäten, originaler Taos-Kunst von einigen unserer außergewöhnlichen Künstler und meinem Sinn für Laune ausgestattet.

This spot is soooo cute and cozy! The thick adobe walls guarantee you a very quiet stay and the decor feels really genuine and is very fun and homey. The location is outstanding, an easy walk to Kit Carson, and an even easier walk to fun spots like The Alley Cantina!

This unit is just a block from the main square. It was clean and cozy. It is elaborately decorated with Taos style antiques. The kitchen and bathroom have everything you need. The unit is rather dark during the day . At night, there are a lot of lamps and overhead lights but it is very dim for reading. There is a public parking lot directly across the street. It charges by the hour during the day but is free after 6pm until 10AM. There is parking close by a church that is 5 per day. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Casa Flora was in the perfect location in Taos. We were able to walk to the Plaza, as well as several other nearby locations. We loved the feel of the place, from the garden entry to the eclectic decor inside. It was a good fit for our anniversary get away.Our only complaint was that it was an extremely hot weekend in Taos, and when we got into the room, the thermometer on the swamp cooler said it was 87 degrees in the room. Unfortunately, the swamp cooler was broken. I messaged the owner, and she only offered to deliver another fan the next day, which wasn't a helpful option. The room didn't really cool down until the early morning hours of the next day. She never followed up with us to see if the heat issue was resolved. I also emailed the owner before our trip to clarify whether or not there is onsite parking, and I did not get a response. There is no onsite parking, but we were able to use a public parking lot across the street.

Great little place

Couldn’t be better located. Quiet. Needed another dinner plate and cup to complete setting for 4 but we made do. Friends who stayed with us thought the sleeper sofa was very comfortable. It was a little stuffy on a warm weekend but windows opened and window cooler helped. Amazingly private for being located right behind the plaza.

It's lovely, cozy, and local to downtown

It was just what one would want for a short stay. Nicely decorated, well heated, working stove and referigerator, hot water, adequate light and outlets. A lovely little place to stay. the only drawback is that the bedroom was separated from the main area by a blanket. Since my son and I keep different hours this made it a little difficult to get to sleep but ear plugs did the trick.

Quick family stop

We just spent one night in our way though Taos with our 2 kids (10 and 12). Location was perfect for shopping and eating downtown and to get the local flavor. Accommodations were clean, homey, and Melissa was easily available for questions.

We wanted to love it

The good: Great location within easy walk to plazas, park, restaurants. Fun, kitschy, decor. Great little sitting area in a patio garden with butterflies and bees. Good coffee. The bad: Number 1: The wifi/internet at this apartment was terrible. Constantly dropping out and buffering. Seemed better at night which makes me think several "other users" may have been on it. We called management on the first day (friday) with assurance that "Lex" would respond promptly. We received zero response but acknowledge it was Labor day weekend. Number two: Bed had a sagging body divot on the right side due to either a old mattress or broken box spring. Number three: Cleanliness. There was a quarter inch of dust everywhere. It was so bad that we both woke up sneezing daily. Dog hair on the rugs and couch. (we love dogs but not the hair) Number 4: Electrical issues. Bathroom lamp fixture flickering/surging. Loose GFI electrical outlet next to sink with short circuit potential due to how loose it was in the gang box. Bed room ceiling fan chain broke on the first pull. Several plug strips on the single gang outlets. Mismatched light bulbs throughout. Number 5: Worthless TV. A single 20-22 inch that was bolted to a high shelf with poor wifi connection. Number 6: Free advertised parking wasn't. We had to move the car daily and pay. Number 7: Miscellaneous. A foot ripping nail head sticking up from bathroom threshold. We really did want to love the place but so many issues.

Very small

The apartment was clean and the location is good. The lighting is not good, WiFi did not work, there is no closet for clothes and communication with Melissa wasn’t the best. I sent an email upon our arrival, which was a Monday, and still had not heard back when we left Thursday.

Charming Taos Gem - Perfect Location!

The host was incredibly responsive and accommodating. The property itself is a delightful blend of Taos charm and modern comfort. It's impeccably clean and beautifully decorated. The location can't be beat – just a short walk to the heart of town, with easy access to fantastic restaurants, galleries, and museums. If this gem is available, don't hesitate to book it!

All are special and decorated in a very 'Melissiana' style Many of my guests comment that they are what they always thought Taos should be...

Some women collect shoes, some collect shoes. I seem to collect houses. I love to furnish, decorate, equip and manage these spaces as vacation rentals. I consider myself 'The Vacation Rental Queen of Taos' I had finished my last project--two homes right downtown on a property that had been in foreclosure for two years. Then I bought a downtown compound with four homes. The Inspection Report was 49 pages long. All of my homes have been on recent Taos Home & Garden Tours- Quite a compliment to my style... It's just so much fun!

Casa Flora is quiet and private. There is room for a couple to stretch out, enjoy, cook at home, but outside the front door is everything downtown Taos with shops, galleries, museums and a dozen restaurants within walking distance. There is even free parking right across the street. The town is not ticketing at the meters currently.
