Located in the Heights neighborhood in Jersey City, this home is a perfect retreat for small groups or families. This is not a rental property, it has the touches and homey feeling of a home that is lived in and loved by a family. The unit is approximately 1900 square feet spread among two floors, and also includes a private backyard.

We are located half a block away from the 119 NJ Transit bus which can get you into Manhattan in 20 minutes. We are also only 10 minutes by bus/car to the Hoboken Path Terminal, which can also take you into Manhattan as well as other parts of NJ. If you're flying into the area, we are 20 minutes from the Newark International Airport.

There are three bedrooms to spread out and make yourself comfortable in. The master bedroom features a queen size bed with Saatva luxury mattress and an ensuite bathroom featuring two sinks, a bidet, and a beautiful shower with rain showerhead. The master bedroom also gets significant light and faces the backyard of the property.

The second bedroom is located on the second floor of the unit, and also features a Saatva luxury queen size bed and a small desk and TV.

The third bedroom is currently used as a reading themed nursery, which makes this home perfect for anyone travelling with a small child. If there is need for a third bedroom for adults to sleep in, this could also be arranged.

The kitchen is stocked with an abundance of pots, pans, and utensils. The owners are culinary experts and own all the toys and gadgets one could ask for. There is a large smart fridge, a 5 burner stove/oven, an air fryer, a dishwasher, a Breville espresso maker, and more.

The dining room features a comfortable banquette and chairs that seat up to 8 easily. There is also a TV in the dining room to enjoy while eating meals. Adjacent to the dining room is our living room, which consists of a convertible sofa and two comfy chairs. The windows face the front of the building and can be opened on nice days for a gentle breeze. There is also a second full bathroom located off of the dining room.

Heading upstairs brings you to the 2nd bedroom, as well as a private office, den, third bathroom, and small office desk. The office space is large and comfortable and is a great home base for those working remote. The office is designed with a modern aesthetic.

The den consists of a super comfy large sectional sofa from West Elm that is a great place to watch TV on a 65" OLED Samsung, but equally useful for taking a restful nap with our Bearaby weighted blanket. There is also an Xbox One Series X and a PS4 for those who enjoy video games. The den also has a small desk with a laptop hookup to 2 monitors for those who need a second place to work. There is also a full bathroom on the second floor as well.

Finally, the house has outdoor space as well with a private backyard that measures 35 x 20. Half turf and half stones, it is a great place to unwind. There are string lights hung overhead which makes the space sparkle at night. There is a dining table outdoors with seating for 8 if the mood strikes, and an outdoor sectional and chairs for hanging out with drinks and conversation. The second floor has a small balcony as well with two chairs that overlook the backyard.

There are many great points of interest and restaurants nearby. We are located about 10-15 minutes from three different wonderful parks. Pershing Field Park features baseball fields, basketball and tennis courts, an indoor swimming pool, and an ice skating rink. Riverview Fisk Park sits right on the edge of the Heights, with an incredible view of the entire NYC skyline, from the Freedom Tower, to the Empire State Building, to the Edge, to Harlem and more. Its a breathtaking sight in daylight and especially at night. There is also a weekly farmers market there during May - November, Washington Square Park has basketball courts, tennis courts, pickleball courts, and playgrounds for kids ranging from 3 to 10. Slides, swings, jungle gyms, etc.

Hoboken is a 15 minute walk away via the elevator that takes you down from the Heights. Downtown Jersey City is a short drive away or a quick ride on the NJ Light Rail which stops 15 minutes away from the house.

Local bars include Corkscrew, Irving Social, The Alps, and more - all within walking distance. For food, there are many walkable places including; Cafe Rumba (excellent home cooked Cuban food at affordable prices), Martys (amazing smash burgers and fries), Corto (rustic Italian food), Low Fidelity (detroit style pizza), Dulce de Leche (incredible bakery and signature tres leches cake), Saigon Bistro (vietnamese), Irmas Cafe (Salvadoran pupasas), The Hutton (american/bar food). Venturing out of the local neighborhood, there are further incredible spots in the downtown Jersey City area including : Razza's (some of the best pizza in NYC Metro area), Mariscos El Submarino (mexican style ceviches and cocteles), and Panaderya Salvaje (incredible filipino bakery).
