The Amara Villas are uniquely situated next to both the Ostional Wildlife Refuge and the Nosara Civic Association’s (NCA) privately protected tropical humid coastal forest. This expansive area of protected nature is a vital habitat for a diverse range of local flora and fauna. Notable species frequently observed within the canopy, on the trails, and in the understory include the Mantled howler monkey (Aloutta palliata), ocelots (Leopardus pardalis), the Turquoise-browed Motmot (Eumomota superciliosa), and the Lance-tailed Manakin (Chiroxiphia lanceolata). Acknowledging its proximity to this natural abundance, the Amara Villas landscaping design is strongly committed to habitat restoration by reintroducing native trees and plants that offer shelter, food, and perching opportunities for local fauna. Furthermore, in an effort to conserve water, we are selecting species that naturally require less irrigation, particularly during the dry season.



The Space:

Villa Santa Rosa is a 6-bedoom, 6-1/2 bathroom luxury Villa sleeping up to 16 people in 4 king beds and 4 queen beds. Villa Santa Rosa offers a private pool, outdoor shower, and outdoor grill and indoor / outdoor dining areas. The Villa has a fully-equipped kitchen, air conditioning, and wireless internet.



Guest Access:

Upon arrival, a member of the Amara Villas staff will meet you to provide access to your Villa.

Getting Around:

There are many transportation options to and from the Amara Villas and in and around Nosara, from private shuttles, to rental cars, to golf carts / ATVs, and the unique and memorable Tuk Tuks. Your Concierge can assist with all of your transportation needs.

Amara Villas is a newly developed luxury villa property currently under construction and is scheduled to welcome its first guests beginning June 1, 2026.
