Fishing, Boating & Big Sky Adventure Await
Fishing in Montana is truly a dream come true. The Noxon Reservoir area is a premier destination for anglers and even hosts bass tournaments throughout the season. Known for Northern Pike, Trout, Walleye, Sunfish, and Perch, this expansive 6,100-acre lake is also perfect for boating, swimming, family fun, and jet skiing.
Across the state, you can wade into crystal-clear lakes or cast into pebble-bottom trout streams surrounded by breathtaking mountain views. Legendary spots like Paradise Valley and Flathead Lake are just two of the many prized fishing locations in Big Sky Country. While you wait for that trophy catch, take in the cascading mountains and watch for Montana’s incredible wildlife.
Hunters will find Montana equally rewarding. Pursue species such as black bear, mule deer, white-tailed deer, pronghorn antelope, Rocky Mountain elk, Shiras moose, mountain goat, mountain lion, bighorn sheep, turkey, wolf, and bison. The state also offers outstanding upland bird and waterfowl hunting opportunities.

Four public boat launches provide convenient access for anglers and boaters alike.
A short drive away, Trout Creek—known as the huckleberry capital of Montana—sits near the stunning Cabinet Mountains Wilderness. The area offers camping, hiking, hunting, and fishing, along with scenic attractions like Vermilion Falls and Graves Creek Falls.
