Melody was an amazing host! The Rancher had everything we needed and then some and was clean as could be! We are planning to book with her on our next trip to Tennessee!

This property was beautiful. Close enough to visit the Smokey Mountains, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, etc. yet far enough to feel removed from the chaos. The cabin was cute, exactly as described and Melody was a wonderful host - she even came to our rescue when we locked ourselves out of the cabin at 9pm. We will absolutely stay here again.

Loved the location, close enough but away from town! Host was extremely helpful with suggestions of activities and good eats, very responsive to questions Check in/out was a breeze cabin was extremely clean and just right for a quick trip for me and daughter….would definitely recommend the river rat tubing experience!

This is a wonderful, peaceful cottage in the mountains. It's very accessible but still offers mountain views. Very clean and well appointed. Bring your favorite book and take time to sit on the porch swing and listen to the mountains. Melody is a wonderful host. We stayed 10 days and wanted for nothing.

We had a wonderful stay at The Rancher cabin! Melody provided excellent directions in an area where cell service can be spotty. The cabin was very clean and Melody had gone out of her way to insure there were no fragrances to set off our allergies. The view of the mountain was wonderful from the porch where we enjoyed our breakfast. Sitting in the swing on the front porch watching the birds and enjoying the quiet evenings was so relaxing. The kitchen was well equipped for preparing meals. We did not use the spa tub or fireplace but both were clean. The location is very near Tuckaleechee Cavern where we enjoyed a tour. It’s easy to get to the national park and other attractions from the cabin. This is a great location for a quiet getaway. We would definitely stay there again!

We enjoyed our time at Melody’s cabin. It truly is the “peaceful side of the Smokies”. The cabin was top notch clean and we had all the amenities we needed. Communication and expectations were met by all.

Everything was just wonderful! The location is perfect with the mountains all around the cabin and the short drive to the local restaurants and grocery store. Melody was so sweet and great with communication. We greatly enjoyed the fireplace and jacuzzi tub! Would absolutely visit again!
