Taylor, We are glad that you really liked the cabin and are sorry the cabin was little warm during your stay but assure you it was taken care of. The pond across the street is on private property and we do not advertise use for our guest. The kayaks that are at our cabin is for the river that is just outside of cabin that our guest can use while staying in our cabin. We assure you we do everything possible to make our guest have the best possible vacation. Paula

I am truly sorry you had a bad experience at our cabin. We strive to make our guest have a wonderful experience. You just sent us a message in the morning and said you were leaving and did not even give us a chance to make things right. You told me what degrees you kept your home on and the degrees in cabin was less than your own home. I responded quickly on the gate code issue (4 minutes) and it has been fixed on VRBO. The A/C unit was checked out and back cooling properly within few hours of you leaving. Thank you for letting me know about the broke chair and porch and will make cleaners aware and get it taken care of. I am sorry you felt like the coffee pot was too high, you were more than welcome to have just set it down on the countertop during your stay. The living room ceiling fan has been worked on recently and unable to fix so another fan has been ordered to replace it. We strive to have our guest have a wonderful experience and we are sure we will have many happy customers in the future.

Misty, we’d like to clarify a few details regarding your stay. During that weekend, our area experienced extreme temperature swings, which put significant strain on A/C systems across the region. As a result, HVAC companies were overwhelmed with service requests. We spent several hours contacting multiple vendors to get a technician out as quickly as possible, but availability was extremely limited due to the high demand. This situation was unfortunately outside of our control, and there was no delay related to communication with VRBO — we were actively working to secure the earliest possible service appointment. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced and understand how frustrating it can be. We always aim to provide a great experience and appreciate your feedback.
