This is a great home with room to spread out. The multiple living areas made traveling with adult children very comfortable. Responsive host. So relaxing and the location was great! Very close to the wedding we were attending.

This location was perfect for staying in New Bern, NC for our son’s wedding. The back yard was so relaxing on the water with a firepit!

Our family enjoyed a weekend away fishing in the beautiful river! Even though the weather wasn’t the best we still had a great time! Will be booking this annually for our Newbern fishing trip!

Very disappointed. Reviews were very good so we decided to book. Home and grounds are not well kept. Owner was very nice when we reached out to them as there were no bath towels in any bathroom.

Thanks for the feedback. We aim for top personal experience and apologize this didn't meet your expectations. We hire a private lawn service that comes every two weeks- and you were our first spring guest so much to do. The towels were all left in the first floor linen closet. The cleaners do this to simplify the turnovers since changing out bedding and sheets takes time. We took your feedback and started leaving towels on each floor. Hopefully, the view and accommodations were top notch as with other feedback we have received. The kayaks and waterfront tend to be the main focus for vacations. Sorry you didn't enjoy the stay.

We absolutely LOVED our time! Location is beyond beautiful and so relaxing! Not only is the home right on the water, but the surrounding area itself is just as perfect! Very close to down town area of New Bern, yet secluded enough for our own private retreat! The kayaks the owners provided were a huge hit, and we enjoyed having a fire almost nightly! Each morning we would sit either on the balcony of the 2nd floor or right down by the water and enjoyed our coffee, over looking beautiful Brices Creek. We love being outside and there is so much space outside in the back and the front. I can't express how much we truly loved being on the water! We didn't even need to reach out to the owners at all during our week stay because everything was provided that we needed! We couldn't have asked for more! Prior to our arrival any questions we did have we answered immediately and owners were helpful and honest most importantly! We are a family of 7, the 5 kiddos ranging from 9-21, and we had plenty of space for all of us, with the house having 3 levels, it was perfect! We would highly recommend and would stay here again!

House was in a great location, nice neighborhood and convenient to downtown. We did a 45 minute drive to Atlantic beach for a day trip.Back yard was amazing! Great views !!House had lots of room to spread out, 2 living areas and deck off second floor was great place to relax and take in surroundings.Large back yard was so nice, played corn home and did a lot of fishing. House came with kayaks and we brought a few more and spent a lot of time exploring the waterway.Kitchen was well equipped with all we needed and host was quick to reply with and questions or concerns we had.Would for sure recommend!

A wonderful overall experience during our stay in New Bern. The property was absolutely perfect for my wife and I, our two adult sons and soon to be daughter in-law. We absolutely loved the layout of the home with multiple living spaces, two large patios one enclosed on main level one open above overlooking Brices Creek, good sized well stocked kitchen and a large kitchen table for the entire family also looking out to the beautiful private back yard and Brices Creek. Bed rooms and bathrooms were spread nicely throughout the three stories for privacy and beds were all very comfortable. The entire outdoor property was beautiful and the very private back yard with lots of water front, dock and fire pit was one of our families favorites. Location was perfect for visiting the historic town of New Bern and our many other adventures throughout our stay, and close to any needs we had for groceries, etc. Our check-in/check-out process was super easy and wonderful communication with the owners when we had any questions about the surrounding area, resturaunts, etc. A Big thanks to Jen & Ken for a great experience, we truly enjoyed the home and would highly recommend to friends and family. Quiet location for a relaxing waterfront vacation. Convenient location. Close to downtown New Bern and Croatan National Forest trailhead. Easy, 50 minute, drive to the coast for a day trip. Comfortable beds. Stocked kitchen and baths. Would stay here again. Our multigeneration family stayed here for 4 nights.
