Hi! We’re Umi and Bill, and we’re the family behind Oak + Shore Properties a small, heart-led hospitality brand built around meaningful travel, thoughtful design, and creating spaces that feel like home wherever you land..

Our story began in 2018 when we purchased our very first vacation rental, The Crest Beach House in Wildwood Crest, New Jersey on a total whim. What started as a simple beach getaway quickly turned into a deep love for hosting and creating memorable experiences for others. In 2021, after a lot of dreaming, searching, and praying, we added our second property, The Catskills Mountain House in the Catskills of New York. And most recently, our journey brought us to Tennessee with Fort Campbell Basecamp in Clarksville a home created to honor military families, transitions, and new beginnings..

When you stay at one of our homes, you start as a guest but leave as part of the Oak + Shore family. We care deeply about quality over quantity and take pride in offering high-touch hospitality, thoughtful design, and all the little details that turn a stay into a memory.

✓ Master bedroom with ensuite bathroom, soaking tub, double sinks & large walk-in closet truly feels like a retreat
✓ Kid-friendly bunk room with two full-size bunks (sleeps up to 4 kids or couples) with a Big Joe beanbag chair, reading nook for quiet time or bedtime stories, and games to keep kids entertained
✓ Third bedroom ideal for adults or flexible sleeping
✓ Firepit for s’mores nights and storytelling (wood not provided, available locally)

House Rules (Strictly Enforced):
✓ Absolutely NO parties or events (Violation = immediate eviction, no refund, $500+ fine)
✓ No smoking of any kind inside (Violation = $500+ fine)
✓ Up to 4 vehicles
✓ Exterior Ring cameras for guest safety (full privacy inside the home)

Ideal For Longer Stays
We specialize in mid-term stays (3 weeks–6 months) and are especially well-suited for:
✓ Military relocation / PCS or transition stays
✓ Families waiting on housing or closing on a home
✓ Guests who are in between homes due to insurance repairs or renovations
✓ Corporate contractors or extended work assignments

Short-term stays are welcome as well, especially for family visits, graduations, ceremonies, and events.

For stays over 30 nights, bi-weekly cleaning is required at $150 per cleaning to ensure the home stays fresh and comfortable for everyone.
