This is the 4th or 5th time I’ve stayed at this condo it is always clean and the view is amazing. It is located at the perfect location for me. The newly renovated floors and bathrooms are beautiful. The only complaint I would have is the shower heads are rain shower heads and don’t have any pressure to get soap/shampoo off of you

Condo was great and right on the beach. The owner's provided beach chairs, sand pails, cooler, picnic basket etc so you do not need to bring or purchase any of the items while lounging and playing on the beach which is awesome! Definitely would recommend this to others.

I’m sorry you had a bad experience while visiting our condo. I’m not sure what property manager you spoke to, but it wasn’t my wife nor I. We only put out 1 parking pass per visit because we also have to pay for them and don’t want them wasted. If a guest needs more than one and tells us we will provide a second one at no charge. We also would have told you that it would be ok for your son to visit. The people in the on site office are only responsible for building maintenance, security, etc. and aren’t necessarily hospitality oriented.

Amazing View!

My husband and I stayed in the beautiful condo for ten days. The view from the master bedroom and living room are amazing. I loved being able to wake up every morning and the first thing I see is the ocean. The condo was very clean and very nicely located close to everything. The owners were wonderful to work with and answered all my questions very quickly. The reason I didn't give this condo five stars is because I found the bed in the master bedroom to be very uncomfortable....but other than that the condo is awesome!

Yes, it is truly amazing to wake up to the sounds of the waves on the beach; sipping your morning coffee on the balcony as you watch the early birds hitting the beach or occasionally seeing dolphins swimming by just offshore. As for the mattress, it is a relatively new king size premium pillow top made by a top manufacturer (Sealy Posturepedic, I think). Unfortunately, one mattress does not please everyone. As Goldilocks said, some are too hard, some are too soft and some are just right.

Fantastic Weekend Away

The pictures do not do this condo justice, as it was absolutely amazing inside. Everything mentioned was included. Has a great assortment of beach toys, chairs and even an umbrella. The sight of the sunrise and sunset from the balcony was worth more than the price of the condo. It is very close to everything you want/need to do in PCB, with plenty within walking distance and nothing too far a drive away. The owners are very easy to work with and will most likely be receiving my family and I as repeat guests in the future. I highly, highly recommend spending a weekend (or more) in this condo.

Perfect Place

My husband and I brought my 85 and 84 year old parents for their 65th Wedding anniversary. It was a great place and decorated just right for my mom's taste. We played puzzles from the collection already there and the TV is a great size with surround sound since they are hard of hearing. They enjoyed the patio and the view the most. Weather cooperated and it was great. The only thing I would have liked was handicapped rails in the bathroom but I knew that going in. Took this place because of location and other great reviews and was not disappointed. Loved the combination lock on the door and not having to worry about losing a key or card to get in.

Okay, but not fantastic

Carpets needed vacuumed. Bathroom needed a rug instead of stepping onto the cold, wet, slippery floor. Also needed towel hooks or bars. The screen doors on the sliders were missing. Smudges on the stainless steel appliances. Several little things like this made it less than perfect. Communication with the owners was difficult. Parking wasn't great. The thing that bothered me most was the instructions left by the owners demanded we not leave a review unless it was a 5 star review! I'll leave whatever review I feel is appropriate, not just what I'm told to leave. Despite all the negatives, the condo overall is pleasant & the view is spectacular!

We encourage all our guests to communicate with us. We are Premier Partners, which has one of their criteria to quickly communicate with guests within a short time frame. In addition, this guest emailed us this: “Sounds great, thank you! I appreciate your quick response!” We had to change cleaning services because the quality was not there. I attribute some of these comments about the cleaning, leaving a bathroom rug, etc to that. We expect quality cleaning. We ask guests to contact us if there are any issues. We would have gotten the cleaner back there but they did not mention anything. Ocean Villa has the best parking arrangement I’ve seen in PCB and I’ve visited many. The screens are off on purpose because of guests leaving the doors open with the AC on; causing the a/C unit to freeze up and to increase the electric bill. We do not demand our guests to give a 5 star review while we hope they do. Many guests do not realize how the booking sites tabulate the reviews. A 1-4 star review equates to a 1 star review in their total. We are a small business and these lower ratings would be devastating. What we ask is if you can’t give a 5 star review please do not do a review at all because of this. This guest’s reservation was 10/5/23 thru10/11/2023; yet, he waited until 3/13/24 to review which is 6 months later. I find this curious. Was he having a bad day and we were his victim because I feel a 3 star is unwarranted for the complaints he wagered.

Amazing views!

This property was beautiful...a breathtaking view of the ocean and then you can see the street side also. Check in was easy, parking was covered and not a far walk from property. We actually stayed an extra night and communication with the owner was quick and adding a night was so easy!! Overall 5 stars and we will definetly be back...thank you!!

We loved it! We've stayed in this building before so knew what to expect. This unit was as awesome as the previous one. We liked that there were two beach chairs in the laundry room because we forgot ours. The Sunshine Cafe and Bakery right across the street, is the bomb too. Great unit. Great view. We come every 4th of July, 1st time we have stayed at this condo. It was very easy using elevator, no wait time and within walking distance to shop! Loved it had a great time!

The property surpassed expectations even with the tremendous reviews. Check in was completely stress free. We loved that the room had nice beach chairs, umbrella, toys and a nice size beach cooler. The beds were extrmely comfortable. We couldn’t ask for more and plan to stay here again on our trips to PCB.

Beautiful inside area. Beautiful view on beach and ocean. Large patio. Wish it had lounge chair to sit in. Plan to use again in future.

Beautiful location

Everything was easy the place was clean and nice. The only thing is I’m a hot sleeper, the air is on timers and I didn’t know how to override it so during the night it got warm. Other than that, great place to stay.

So glad you found everything to your liking to make your vaca great. You should have said something about the digital thermostat. There is no timer or governor on it. You must have needed a little instruction on its use. Thank you for the 5 star review. We appreciate you!

Welcome to Mermaid Villa at Ocean Villa in Panama City Beach! We purchased this beautiful Gulf-front property in 2013 after years of visiting PCB and falling in love with its turquoise waters, soft white sands, and endless sunshine.
As pharmacists, who value both relaxation and quality time with family and friends, we chose Ocean Villa for its thoughtful design, direct beach access, and unbeatable views. The moment we stepped onto the expansive balcony of this end-unit condo and saw the unobstructed panorama of the Gulf, we knew it was our forever beach home. Built in 2006, the building has held up beautifully with excellent maintenance, and the open architecture lets the sea breeze and views flow through every space.
Mermaid Villa has become our personal escape—a place to unwind after busy lives, host loved ones, and create lasting memories. We’ve carefully stocked it with everything needed for comfort: soft linens and towels, a well-equipped kitchen, premium mattresses, and thoughtful touches throughout. Over the years we’ve hosted family vacations, milestone celebrations, and quiet getaways, always prioritizing cleanliness, privacy, and a true sense of “home away from home.”
