Hi, I’m Jessica! My husband and I love traveling with our three school-age kids, and this year we’re setting off on an extended four-month adventure. While we’re away, we’re excited to open our home to guests looking to experience a bit of Southern charm in a quiet, private setting—conveniently located near both downtown Charleston and the beach.

We’re experienced short-term rental hosts with multiple properties in California and Mount Pleasant, and we take pride in thoughtfully curating each stay. Our goal is to create a clean, bright, and comfortable space where you’ll have everything you need to settle in and truly feel at home.

This home is located in historic Old Village, one of Mount Pleasant and Charleston's most cherished neighborhoods. This coastal enclave blends historic charm with laid-back Lowcountry living. Tree-lined streets are dotted with beautifully preserved homes, moss-draped oaks, and scenic views of Charleston Harbor, creating a peaceful, storybook setting (the weekly sound of the ice cream truck, kids on bikes heading out to fish on Pitt Street Bridge, and even an old-fashioned pharmacy with hamburgers and milkshakes!).

Old Village offers the best of both worlds: a quiet, residential atmosphere paired with exceptional convenience (restaurants, wine, shop, and shops just down the street). You’re just minutes from downtown Charleston, yet far enough away to enjoy a slower pace. Many residents and visitors love being able to walk or bike to waterfront parks, neighborhood cafés, local shops, and iconic spots like Pitt Street Bridge—perfect for sunrise and sunset strolls, fishing, or taking in sweeping harbor views.
