In extreme weather: Please note that although we do hire services to regularly shovel walkways and plow the driveway, these services may not come out until after the storm is over. There is a snow shovel available on the front deck. Also, as in all mountain homes, electricity may be compromised in a snowstorm.
In the winter, you must have 4WD/AWD. The road up to the home is very steep and slippery in the winter. Pease do not book this property if you do not have 4W/AWD. Always check road controls when traveling to the mountains at cal trans road controls website.
Please be aware that there are forest animals year round. It will not be unusual to see bears, coyotes and other creatures during your stay. Do not leave any food in your car or outside.
Please be aware that quiet hours are from 9pm to 8am and are strictly enforced by the county.
All trash must be securly placed in the bear bin at the street. If you have any excess garbage, please let us know. Do not put it outside.
Street parking is allowed for 2 vehicles just to the left of the staircase as you are looking at the home. No other street parking is allowed.
