Lake Views presents an exceptional opportunity for a Lake Gaston retreat, offering panoramic main lake vistas from a serene, protected cove. The residence spans three thoughtfully designed levels, accommodating multiple families while retaining an inviting, intimate ambiance. Each bedroom and living space features picturesque lake views, and the private dock is conveniently located just steps away, providing seamless access to swimming, kayaking (two provided), paddle boarding (one provided), boating, tubing, fishing, and additional water activities. Ample floats and noodles are supplied to enhance group experiences and lakeside enjoyment.
The property comprises of five bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms, including two master suitesâboth with an en suite bathrooms, walk-in closets, and all with striking views of the lake. Families traveling with children can utilize either of the two bunk rooms, making it particularly well-suited for larger groups; an extra cot is also available upon request. Despite its capacity, the home's layout preserves privacy and comfort for adults and children alike.
Guests may enjoy a lakeside firepit furnished with Adirondack chairs, ideal for evenings spent by the fire; cornhole boards are also available for entertainment. A hammock offers a quiet spot for relaxation, and a Weber gas grill supports outdoor culinary endeavors. Complimentary high-speed internet is included throughout the property.
On the main floor, the primary master bedroom features a king bed and attached full bathroom. Additional main-floor amenities include a living room (with TV and Apple TV), gas fireplace, kitchen, half bath, and sunroom/dining area. Guests will appreciate the well-appointed screened porch with comfortable seating and outstanding lake views, along with extended deck spaces suitable for lounging and alfresco dining. The porch also includes a four-seat bar area overlooking the lake.
The lower level hosts a second master suite with a queen bed, en suite bathroom, and walk-in closet. This level also features a fully furnished game room/family room equipped with a large sectional, gas fireplace, TV (with Amazon Firestick), foosball table, board games, and a designated game table. An additional bunk room is located here, and sliding doors open onto a covered patio for outdoor dining, situated mere steps from the lake.
Upstairs, guests will find two spacious bedrooms with extraordinary lake views and a shared full bathroom. One bedroom is furnished with a comfortable queen bed, while the other serves as a bunk room accommodating up to five individuals (featuring one twin-over-twin and one twin-over-full bunk bed).
All linens are provided at no additional cost.
The property offers ample parking, with three private driveways converging in two circular drives within a shaded setting. Paved roads throughout the neighborhood ensure easy accessibility, and there is sufficient space for boat trailer parking.
Guests are invited to use the two kayaks and paddleboard provided for exploring nearby coves. A limited supply of life jackets is included with the kayaks; however, guests are encouraged to bring their own to ensure proper fit, especially for young children.
The expansive dock features deep, clean water with a firm bottom and provides two designated areas for boat tie-up. Steps at the waterâs edge enable gradual entry into 2-3 feet of water, while deeper sections at the end of the dock allow for swimming in 5-6 feet. The calm waters of the cove facilitate safe swimming, floating, kayaking, and paddleboarding. Please note: swimming is at your own risk and diving is strictly prohibited.
For added convenience, a refrigerator is available at the boathouse. Additional dock amenities include a variety of inflatable water toys, floating saddles, fishing equipment, sun loungers, teak furniture, and umbrellas.
PETS WELCOME! The property even includes a FENCED DOGGIE PARK on-site in the back yard by the water! PET POLICY: well-behaved and house-trained dogs allowed (maximum 2 dogs; no cats please). Dogs must be at least one year of age, neutered/spayed, up-to-date on rabies, and other vaccinations, and free of fleas/ticks. Guests must pick up after pets and properly dispose of waste. Pet fee (non-refundable): $125 for first dog, $75 for second dog. Please provide details about dogs to owners prior to arrival.
You are in a PRIME location on the North side of the main channel and CLOSE TO EVERYTHING. Only 4 MILES to Food Lion, ABC Liquor Store, Dollar Store, Gaston Pizza, Hwy 55 Burgers, Subway, LKG Coffee, Ace Hardware and more. By water you are just a few minutes to the Eatonâs Ferry Bridge and the local waterfront restaurants (Waterâs View Restaurant and The Pointe Restaurant). There is a public boat ramp only two miles from the house (by land and water). Southpointe Marina and Washburnâs Marina are close by for your fuel and boating convenience.
Guests coming from the North or South using the I-95 corridor will be pleasantly surprised by the accessibility from major metro areas (about 1 to 1.5 hours from Raleigh and Richmond).
Nearby are churches, a plant nursery, golf course, mini golf, farmers market, and flea market. Our house is a good base for a visit to Rosemont of Virginia Vineyards and Winery.
Any jet skis and boats on the boat lifts at the boat house are property of the owners, not to be tampered with, and not for use by renters. There are numerous boat rental companies on the lake for your convenience.
Please note that the house is on a SEPTIC SYSTEM. Please DO NOT flush anything except HUMAN WASTE and TOILET PAPER that is provided!
