Needed Family Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved the location, check-in was so easy, Bear Cub lodge was beautiful. The staff responded to every request and questions we had, they were there for us from check in to check out. We did have a problem with one of the queen size bedrooms bed, we made a complaint and it was responded to the same day but we discovered later that night the fix did not hold, as a matter of fact that bed frame has been worked on my times. The night before we left a thunderstorm with heavy rains occurred, and we discovered that there are at least two leaks, and we reported those. Overall we had a great stay and we would come back and stay again.

Broke out in rash, lots of ants in bathroom

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was nice and very close to downtown. Amenities were really great too. The projector and games in bottom floor were nice. However there was an infestation of ants in one of the bathrooms particularly the bathtub for 1-2 days. Management was responsive and sent pest control out to spray and ants were gone about 36 hours after being sprayed. Wife broke out in a rash all over her forehead and face after one day and continued to get worse over the next few days. We checked out one day early because her rash was getting so bad. Not sure if it was an allergy to the cleaning materials used or if it was just dusty. Also this cabin is very close to other cabins. For two days as we wanted to enjoy our breakfast on the balcony, we heard children and adults screaming. We had to put in our noise cancelling headphones to block them out. Be aware that the cabin is just close to other cabins.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was more than I expected. It was very nice,clean,and had everything that we needed. We didn't want to leave. If it was a little more affordable to stay another night we most definitely would have.

Retreat 2016

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was very nice, clean and comfortable. It was conveniently located close to a small shopping area for last minute purchases. The only real concern was lack of a restroom on the main floor. The staff was very friendly and efficient.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our second time staying at Elks Springs Resort, and had a great time. Staying at the Bear Cub Lodge was an awesome experience. Everything matches the photos seen on the website. The check-in and check-out process was easy, and the staff is always friendly and professional! Will definitely be back next year!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented the cabin in celebration of our sons College graduation. Everything in the cabin was very extremely nice. We initially had a problem with the air but within 5 minutes of calling, Shane came to the rescue. Phenomenal customer service. We will definitely visit again!

Amazing stay @ Bear Cub Lodge

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin was clean and ready for our arrival. It has so many features that appealed to our family. We had an issue with the front door lock and called Elk Springs and they responded quickly and resolved the problem. The cabin is located close to Great Smoky National Park and many other places we wanted to visit. We had an amazing vacation!

Great Cabin

Usually with this size cabin you have big pans and bowls, we had to wash pans to fix next dish...Would of liked to have a crock pot too.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I absolutely loved our stay at Bear Cub.. I will definitely book another cabin here in the near future.. 5 out of 5 rating.. Our only complaint would be the downstairs area, it was a cold with the A/c goin.. We wanted to turn on the Fireplace, even though it was Spring time.. just to knock out the draft.. other than that, it was perfect..

Nice cabin. Cleaning needs improvement.

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Spacious cabin with wonderful amenities. Location is convenient. The hot tub was nicely maintained. The house was clean but the linens were not clean. We found hair from previous guests on many of the pillow cases. It seems many of the pillow cases weren’t laundered.

Elk Springs Cabin

I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall nice stay at Elk Springs. Main complaint was check in was not available until after 5pm. Some wear and tear showing in the cabin but not bad. Sound on TV projector did not work but maintenance was quick and responsive to fix. Beautiful setting, nice outdoor fireplace and hot jacuzzi. Kids enjoyed the game room.
