Pool Heating & Usage Information (Please Read Carefully)

Given the pool’s size (15,000 gallons), heating requires 6–12 hours to reach a comfortable temperature and involves significant energy usage. For this reason, optional pool heating is available for an additional fee.

Pool Heating Details
• Optional pool heating: $65 per night
(plus applicable fees & taxes, paid pre-trip )
• Pool heating must be requested at least 12 hours prior to arrival
• We recommend checking the local weather forecast before deciding to add pool heating

The pool heater can raise the water temperature up to 20°-25°F above the outdoor temperature, with a maximum pool temperature of approximately 85°F.
Please note: when outdoor temperatures drop below 55°F, the pool may still feel too cool for most guests even with heating enabled.

Pool & Hot Tub Operation
• The pool and hot tub are controlled remotely, so there’s no need to adjust any equipment manually.
• Please do not touch or adjust the pool system in the backyard, as this may disrupt normal operation or scheduled settings.
• The host can adjust the system and schedule settings upon your request. Simply send us a message, and we’ll take care of it for you.

Pool Maintenance & Water Conditions
• The pool is professionally cleaned and serviced WEEKLY @Wednesday by a trusted local company (Full Splash Pool Service)
• The water is chemically treated, clean, and safe to use

You may notice discoloration in certain corners of the pool. These are cosmetic surface variations related to the plaster finish and do not affect water cleanliness or safety.

Weather-Related Conditions (Out of Our Control)
• Pool use is not permitted during storms for safety reasons
• Heavy rain may temporarily cause the pool water to appear cloudy or green, even shortly after a professional cleaning
• This is a common and unavoidable condition following severe weather

When conditions are safe and scheduling allows, we will coordinate with our pool service for additional post-storm maintenance, but immediate service cannot always be guaranteed.
