Great place and very communicative hosts. Thought booking and our stay they were very friendly and had quick responses to our questions. Less than a 10 min walk to the 2nd Ave station and lots of great food in the area. Highly recommended.

Exactly as advertised! Host had great communication through out our trip. There are several restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and stores within walkable distance of this location!

This was probably the best VRBO we have stayed in the city. The walk is easy even if the train is 10 min away, there is a bus stop around the corner. The backyard seating area was by far the very best part of our stay. The king bed was the most comfortable bed we’ve ever slept on in the city! Shower pressure was great too!!!Something to note was that the actual apartment is not in the area in the listing. We made a number of plans looking around the area that we could not take advantage of bc it is several blocks away. Also you need to hurry through the first door of the building to open the 2nd door so you can get in.

We loved the neighborhood. It felt very safe and so much to eat nearby. It was wonderful for traveling all over the island. The apartment had everything we needed and it all worked great! Only downside we had was the address listed and sent to you is NOT where you are actually staying. They send you the actual address 24 hrs prior to check in. (All the pictures and description is the actual apartment though)

We had a wonderful stay at this two-bedroom apartment in the East Village. The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and in an excellent location — surrounded by so many great restaurants, shops, and things to do.The management team was extremely communicative, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay, which made everything very easy. We also loved how simple it was to get in and out of the building with the keypad access.A huge bonus was the first-floor patio with chairs in the back — such a rare find in New York City and a perfect spot to relax.We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it. Do not hesitate to book!

Great location. House could use some updating. King bed frame was partially collapsed when we got there and we were unable to fix it, but we made it work. Other issues included hot and cold spigots reversed, limited kitchen utensils, uncomfortable seating. The location was wonderful, and the apartment was clean.

I'll start with the good... the unit was clean & well stocked with plenty of towels etc. The beds were comfortable. There were 3 of us & we had plenty of room & having a washer & dryer in the unit was nice since it was hot & humid out. The AC units worked well. It was a very quiet neighborhood with no noise pollution to keep you up at night. The nearest subway was about 1/4 mile away at 2nd & Housten. The F train would take you uptown. When I had asked, prior to our stay, where the nearest subway station was I was told, "It's just across the street".. Well, it's across some street. Upon our arrival I opened the frig & freezer doors. The frig was clean but the freezer was completely full of ice with packages of food frozen into it like a glacier. You couldn't fit anything into it as it desperately needed to be defrosted. We had a backyard area fenced in & looked out & at one point saw 6 rats frolicking like they owned the place. I contacted the owner & they sent over a person who explained to me that the city has rats.. I did NOT go outside! The building was clean & well kept so other than the freezer, rats & on the last day the toilet not working it was a great stay.
