Welcome to Octopus' Garden! Unit 1 is Nestled in a beautifully renovated historic house, this stylish one-bedroom, one-bath unit retreat offers the perfect blend of urban charm and coastal relaxation. Perfect to rest between outings to our beautiful surroundings.

The new, open-concept kitchen seamlessly connects to a spacious living and dining area, perfect for both relaxation and entertaining. The bedroom features a comfortable king bed, and the roomy living/dining space can easily accommodate a firm queen air mattress for extra guests. The modern bathroom includes a large walk-in shower and a bidet for added comfort.

Step outside to a secluded oasis and enjoy the pool and hot tub, shared only with those in this house, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring downtown or the nearby beaches. We were in town for our son's baseball tournament. The location was great, and it was easy to get to where we needed to go. Our hosts were great as well and communication was on point.

Host very welcoming. Unit was clean and very accomodating. Pool wasn't heated but they have plans to do that.Very reasonable price.

Pool was ice cold, lots of mosquitoes by hot tub, could not enjoy outside at all, very disappointed. No thermostat, owner controlled it from her unit, main TV was on a timer, so couldn't even watch a full movie unless we were in bedroom. Unit was clean, owner was nice, but the main description of this property did not say anything about a shared unit. We always stayed in private house. Very disappointed, we heard talking thru the walls in kitchen and bedroom, truly no privacy in this unit. They need to be honest with property description. Try to stay out of unit as much as possible to make the best of our time off, ft myers beach is highly recommended

Were sorry to hear that Melinda did not have a great stay with us as we usually get raving reviews. Unfortunately there must have been a miscommunication in the listing description because the below paragraph is quoted directly from out listing. "Step outside to a secluded oasis and enjoy the pool and hot tub, shared only with those in this house, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring downtown or the nearby beaches. As unit 1 of 3 in this charming historic house, The Hot Tub Hideaway provides a unique, comfortable base for your next getaway." We do not advertise the pool as heated and the hot tub is kept to 101 degrees but can reach 104 if desired. We try to accomodate every one in the house by keeping the thermostat set to 72 - 74 degrees and ask our guests to communicate if they might need the temperature adjusted. As for the Mosquitos... The city does spray for them, we have bug spray available on the table by the hot tub, and the gazebo does have a mosquito net that can be utilized. Unfortunately this is Florida and mosquitos happen... Especially at dusk. We will keep all of Melindas feedbackn in consideration though as we strive to continually improve our little Florida getway. We think its really neat and so do almost all of our guests. We wish them well in the future..
