Cliffside Cabin at Piney Falls - with Creek Access
Perched high on a cliff, this unique 1-bed, 1-bath cabin offers breathtaking views of the creek below. From the back deck, unwind to the sound of cascading falls.
You’ll have access to 2 additional decks - 1 up on the cliff & 1 down near the creek, nestled among towering rock walls. Each features its own firepit & torches, perfect for cozy evenings under the stars.
A staircase winds through rock formations, leading to the crystal-clear creek below, where you can swim, fish, kayak, or simply explore.
The space:
Set high above Piney Creek, this cozy cabin combines rustic charm with quiet comfort — the perfect place to slow down and reconnect with nature.
Out back, the covered deck offers a comfortable chair and sofa, additional log seating, and an electric grill — all overlooking the creek, with the soothing sound of the waterfall below. Facing west, it’s the perfect spot to watch the sun slip behind the hills and paint the sky in color. Keep an eye out for bald eagles, hawks, and blue herons that often glide by.
The covered front porch, with its swing and handcrafted log furniture, invites you to linger over morning coffee or watch the forest wake.
Inside, hardwood floors, warm wood walls, and a wood-burning stove create a cozy, cabin feel. A TV and Wi-Fi offer modern touches without taking away from the tranquility.
Just steps from the cabin, a fire ring awaits for starlit evenings and glowing campfires.
Guest access:
Further down the path, just past your private fire ring, you’ll find the upper deck perched on the cliff’s edge, overlooking the creek and surrounding hills. Complete with a gas firepit and tiki torches, it’s a captivating spot to relax and take in the views.
From there, a winding staircase leads through a natural opening in the rock down to the lower deck, nestled among towering cliff walls. Here, you’ll find more tiki torches and another gas firepit, with peaceful views of the water.
It’s an enchanting, almost otherworldly spot to truly get away from it all. A final set of steps leads down to Piney Creek itself.
We invite you to light the fires and soak in the atmosphere — it’s a truly special place, day or night.
Please note that these outdoor areas, including the decks and creek access, are occasionally shared with us as owners. You may see us or others enjoying the creek from time to time, but we’re always mindful of your privacy and will ensure you have plenty of space to enjoy it on your own.
Other things to note:
Although the cabin’s location is private and secluded, it’s also part of a small subdivision of 3-6 acre parcels.
We live on acreage adjacent to the property, in the barndominium you’ll pass by as you arrive. You cannot see our home from the cabin, and you will have complete privacy. That said, if you need anything during your stay, we’re close by and happy to help.
