Come take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway! Whether rocking on the screened in front porch, dipping your toes in the creek out front, enjoying a nice fire by the string lights or the gas fireplace on the porch, this place has a spot for everyone to enjoy quiet time away from the hustle bustle of this crazy thing we call life! 80's hand built cabin featuring the original owners design. A unique, one of a kind property for anyone looking for something out of the ordinary! Full disclosures about property, with being built in the 80's, the cabin is more fragile and should be treated as such... it does seem to have an "old cabin smell" in my opinion that I can't avoid. This place is by no means new, so please dont book if you are against things not being in 100% great shape...I wanted to stick as close as I could with the original owners rustic quirky unfinished look. I do live in a cabin about 100 feet from this cabin, we do come and go but you will have as much privacy as you desire. Kitchen is fully equipped with basics, but if you need something specific, dont hesitate to ask! This property is by no means ADA accessible as there are LOTS of stairs. The soaking tub is original, shower handle for seated showering, no head space for standing in shower. Plenty of space for blow up mattresses for extra guests if needed! Some doorways are VERY low and WILL REQUIRE DUCKING 🤣
We do also periodically have campers on the property that have access to the firepit/creek area...if you'd prefer that area to yourself that's totally fine just give me a heads up as there is another space campers can use for creek/fire access!
We do have a very playful sweet but mouthy(upon meeting) Australian Shepherd named Kodak and a sweet cat named Tygrese that roam the property, if you have any issues, please just let me know ahead of time so we can accommodate your comfort!
