My wife and I visited Curacao for the first time in early September/2026. Choosing villa 11 at the Lagun Blou hosted by Anca was initially predicated on the location and proximity to the sea. The two storey villa offered a spectacular, unobstructed, panoramic view of the turquoise Caribbean, exactly as advertised. Maybe better in person. Literally steps off the first floor loggia, guests can descend the private cliffside stone steps before taking the wooden dock stairway directly to the water's edge. A perfect setting for swimming/snorkelling in the incredibly clear, warm and calm sea. The villa proper was clean, spacious and included three bedrooms, three washrooms, each with a stand alone shower, and a well appointed TV/sitting room. It had all the amenities we needed, from a well equipped kitchen to excellent A/C in each of the rooms (excluding bathrooms). As we soon learned, this is a rarity in Curacao as most have A/C in the bedrooms only.Beyond the incredible property, views and tranquil, relaxing setting, our host (Anca) made the experience that much more enjoyable. She was incredibly professional yet friendly, reasonable, fair and expeditiously answered every email we sent. We were so impressed with Anca and the vacation experience, we have already confirmed our return in early 2027. We also want to give a shout out to the onsite manager, Cecilia, for her kind, personable and highly accommodating service during our stay. Ron
