Charming 1-bedroom in-law suite with functional kitchen in pleasant Portsmouth

To address the AC comment, the unit is an in-law suite with heat and AC provided from the main house. She’s referring to a supplemental split unit which has not worked since I purchased the house a year ago. It will be replaced soon, though it has not been necessary thus far. Regardless of the review left, I did offer a solution. In fact, at 2am my time while overseas, I had my neighbor go buy a window AC and install it so she had an independent AC in the unit before nightfall. I merely said I had never received a complaint or so much as a comment on the AC or temperature from previous guests. A note on the mirror, it’s a vintage floor to ceiling with oxidation from age, it is not dirty. As far as the dirty sink and shower, if it was in-fact an issue, it will be addressed with my cleaner. As you’ll read from my other reviews, the condition is much better than described and I’ve always gone out of my way to ensure guests have everything they need. This guest was incredibly rude and verbally abusive while trying everything to receive a full refund for her stay from the moment she got there. I have to assume this harsh review is a response to not getting a free stay.

I apologize again about the delay in the cleaning from the previous guest who left later than normal on a day my cleaner’s schedule conflicted, I admit I overlooked the toilet paper stock in my own hurry to get the place ready for you. As for the hair dryer, I’m assuming a previous guest may have taken it inadvertently and I have since replaced it. I had both the hair dryer and toilet paper in your hands within minutes of being made aware. As for the projector, it is actually a rather nice system which also allows you to share content from your phone. I would have been happy to help you understand the newer technology had I known you were having issues. I believe the original instruction book is on the rack next to it but I will work to add simplified directions for future guests. The coffee is a Kcup machine for convenience and ease of use. Maybe the flavor was the issue, there were others to choose from in the cabinet above and I will also add some more variety moving forward. Appreciate the thorough feedback which will help me continue to refine my hosting skills.
