Extended vacation

A few days into our original itinerary in Hawaii, we realized it would be too short so we quickly looked at VRBO for another condo in order to extend our vacation. This was the perfect location, great layout, beautiful grounds and lovely view from the ground floor lanai. Exactly what we needed for a few extra days in the Sun!! Thank you!!

Family reunion holiday

Rentals Maui staff were wonderful in helping make this happen. Suite 10-111 could be made even better by the addition of a king sized bed and a bit of a refresh in the bathrooms. We have dealt with Rentals Maui for many years and have never been disappointed. See you next year!

The condo is old and dated and could use a refresh, the closet door was broken as well. The beds were comfortable, and the unit has one of the larger patios, we could see the ocean when standing on the patio. The condo was the least expensive one I could find and so for our purposes it was great. I would stay there again.

beautiful location, but noisy

great location except no air in bedroom and if you opened any windows the elevator was right there so quite noisy and hot. for the price i paid it was decent value for an unrenovated dated suite but trying to rent for next year they raised the rent over 40% without any renovation. There are many to choose from in Oct /Nov that are compeletly renovated with air for around the same price.

Great Condo

My husband, daughter and I loved this condo. It had everything we needed for our time on Maui. We have stayed at Kamaole Sands multiple times in a few different units and love this complex. Building 10 is definitely our favourite by far. The unit was great and we loved the updated kitchen and master bathroom. Having the larger lanai was perfect for having our meals outside and enjoying the ocean view. The unit included lots of extras like beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, pool noodles and a life jacket for our daughter. Really wish the bedroom had a king bed as the bed felt rather small. But it was comfortable. The condo is right by the elevator which at times could be a little noisy but we had the AC turned on at night so it wasn't too bad. We would definitely book this unit again in future.

I am a Canadian resident, and I had to turn on my roaming in order to call and get a new key code, this was quite disappointing.Other than this unfortunate mishap, the stay was lovely. The rental itself was clean and had everything we needed, and the property and the amenities were great. Would recommend Kamaole Sands, and would look into booking again in the future.

Perfect place in paradise

Unit was very clean, layout was great and bed was comfy. Bathrooms and showers were great. Kitchen Reno is amazing with the island. Very functional. But the lanai looking over the ocean (even to watch the sunset!) is what makes the unit so special. Spent every morning drinking Maui coffee and eating Cinnamon Roll Place cinnamon buns. Kamaole beach is just a 3 minute walk across the street and so many restaurants in walking distance or a short drive to amazing Wailea. Only negative to this unit is right beside the elevator and stairs so very loud starting around 6:30 am. And strangely the fountains get really loud and wish they would turn them off a little earlier at night. Felt like we were shouting to talk. But really these are minor complaints for such an amazing stay. Mahalo Maui.

3 week stay

Property was in a great location across from Kameole III beach. Nicely equipped with most everything you need. We did add a few things that we commonly use including a couple of chair cushions for the bar stools. There is some noise for the elevators outside the unit, but overall it was a great place. We had an issue with the bedroom AC unit not working properly. The management company was quick to respond and the unit was replaced the next day. It wasn't any quieter, portable AC units never are, but it did cool down the bedroom nicely. The renovated kitchen was lovely and the master bathroom reno was nice. Unfortunately the second bathroom did not get renovated which was a shame. The shower in the second bathroom would greatly benefit from a redo.

Maui South Kiehei - Kamaole Sands #10-111

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Excellent vacation spot. Condo was located with close and easy access to Kamaole Beach III, with a beautiful view of the ocean and the fountains. We loved this location and would stay again but the property needs some upgrading to reflect the huge jump in price. Bathrooms need updating, carpeting should be replaced and kitchen could use upgrades as well. Dishwasher is very noisy. Condo says it sleeps 4 but the hide-abed couch is impossible to sleep on - you feel bars, so no comfortable sleep there if you have additional people. The bed in the main bedroom is very comfortable but you have to keep in mind that this unit is right beside the elevators - so you hear everyone coming and going when you are trying to sleep. But the location of this condo is great and with a little upgrading it would be perfect.

Location, location

Lovely stay and close to the beach. We had an issue with the TV /modem which was handled very promptly by property manager. There were concerns with the outdated decor, especially in the bedroom. The pictures and wall hangings were old and faded. The furniture was also dated and old. Most of the lamps were short and made reading in bed or living room difficult. The bed spread and bed skirt did not fit and was very old. Also, the bed should be replaced with a king. The beach/pool towels were cheap and small. There were adequate supplies/toys for beach and a clothes drying rack for wet bathing suits, towels etc. The place was clean when we arrived. However, there were no coffee filters, a minimal amount of cleaning supplies, commercial grade toilet paper and paper towels and no plastic wrap or aluminum foil. Minor issues but issues that can affect the comfort of a unit upon arriving.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stayed 5 days in 10-111 has an amazing garden view with a partial ocean view. Outdoor furniture is very comfortable on an huge covered patio. The property complex itself stunning and kept in pristine condition. A parking space is provided and near the unit. It tastefully decorated and has an abundance of things to bring to the beach across the street. Did not need to use the AC as it was very breezy with good airflow. However this place needs a VERY deep clean. Surfaces like doors, cupboards, baseboards floor corners are grimy. Inside of drawers were dirty as was the dishwasher. Drapery is in need of a dry clean. Bathtub is disgusting. Bathroom towels are soft, floor mats worn. Bed is comfortable and sheets/pillows are very nice. Bedrooms in this complex face the hallway and being on the main floor right across from the main elevators it is very noisy. With blinds open there is no privacy. If you want a good sleep bring earplugs. With the huge increase in rental prices, cleaning and administration fees one would expect more.
