Tamara the home owner greeted us with a warm welcome ! Her house is absolutely lovely, definitely a winner for us. We liked being off the beaten path in rural natural setting. Kitchen was extremely well equipped, the pool was pristine, and the patio was stellar . Tamara was so helpful with guiding us to local beaches, hikes and restaurants. Thank you Tamara. Louise and Jim

Far and Away the Best

We've rented half-a-dozen beautiful homes in Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and Puerto Rico; Tamara's La Hacienda Ojo de Agua in Panama is far and away the best, most refined, and well-thought-out property we've had the pleasure of visiting. And Tamara is an ideal host. A number of the recommendations she made became highlights of our vacation. When we we ran into problems — our 9-year-old got dehydrated, fainted, and required a visit to the ER, at no charge and after too much continuous time monkey-watching in the hot sun! — Tamara was an invaluable resource. We'd revisit Panama, Tamara, and La Hacienda Ojo de Agua in an instant.

I have hosted guests from all over the globe but Jay and his wife & son seemed like family.. I enjoyed their company and I hope my home lived up to the great memories they were looking for in Panama. Every guest is an adventure to me and now I have friends from Michigan too!! Please come back one day ....

Stunning Paradise!

This is one of the most stunning houses we have stayed at. From the amazing views to the Kitchen to the bedrooms! This house is the perfect combination of modern, culture and nature. The green space surrounding the house, the beautiful garden, the pool and the decoration make this house a dream home. Perfect Vacation

This beautiful house is equipped with everything you need to enjoy a perfect vacation. We enjoyed sun filled days in the pool and evenings watching the monkeys in the trees and waiting for the sun to set so we could see the spectacular colours in the skies. At night star watching was brilliant. The hilltop views during the day to the sea and the mountains are amazing also. We cooked on the gas cooktop and there was everything we needed in the kitchen. Both bedrooms were comfortable with lots of towels in the bathrooms. Tamara worked with us from beginning to end to make sure this vacation was the best possible for us. If you are looking for a booming nightlife scene this place might not be for you, however if you are looking for a place to let all your cares melt away look no further.

Top of the Hill!

We loved Tamara's house, especially the salt water pool and the spacious rooms! Manager Sylvie Saflix was so friendly and attentive to all our wishes. We are longtime renters of vacation properties, this one rates right near the top! The Azuero Peninsula is probably not for everyone - it is in the "outback," and you have to be prepared to live like a local. Knowing at least a bit of Spanish will be very helpful. Everyone we met was friendly and curious about us. Tamara's best hint - if you plan to cook at the house, buy a cooler in Pedasi or Las Tablas and stock up on produce and essentials before you head south to Venao! And have Sylvie put you in touch with the fisherman who sells great seafood from his truck!
