Welcome to the Gunslinger Cabin, perfect for up to four guests! This cabin is located at Cowboys and Angels Retreat on a gated 50 acre high fenced private wildlife ranch in the Texas Hill Country. Youâll love the charming rustic furnishings and delightful western-inspired details, including a cute ranch hand galvanized sink. Nestled in the cozy courtyard area, youâll find scenic nature paths and plenty of amenities nearby. The Gunslinger is a friendly side-by-side unit shared with the Hitchinâ Post Cabin and is a pet-friendly retreat. As an added bonus, the Gunslinger Cabin backs right up to our nature path where youâll enjoy the deer and wildlife right from your front door. We canât wait for you to experience it!
Sleeps up to four guests comfortably.
Full-size bed and set of bunk beds.
Private bath with custom shower (toiletries included, soap, shampoo, hairdryer).
Full kitchenette including pans, dishes, utensils and coffee maker (coffee, creamer and sugar included).
All linens and towels included.
AC and heat.
Outdoor courtyard area with grill, table and chairs.
PET FRIENDLY CABIN FOR STAYS LESS THAN 7 DAYS. A $50 DOLLAR PET FEE IS REQUIRED. ONE PET UNDER 40LBS IS ALLOWED.
Located just outside of Kerrville, we are just minutes from restaurants, breweries, wineries, and river access. Hill Country area activities in Fredericksburg, Bandera, Medina and Boerne are nearby.

Back in 2017, James Wright was running an award-winning construction company in Austin, Texas. James had always envisioned creating a sanctuary where nature and comfort intertwined seamlessly. A true country boy at heart, he started dreaming about a gentler life away from the cityâs hustle and bustle. While cruising through the beautiful Hill Country, he stumbled upon a charming piece of land for sale and instantly fell in love with its rustic allure, picturing all the wonderful possibilities. Using his construction know-how and a wealth of creativity, he turned the property into the breathtaking Cowboys and Angels Retreat. James carefully crafted an additional nine unique cabins, each bursting with its own rustic flair. He also set up several full hookup sites for RVs. This addition would ensure that visitors could experience both comfort and a taste of the great outdoors. His main goal was to help guests unwind from their hectic lives, so he added amenities like a refreshing pool, inviting hot tub, cozy covered pavilion, scenic nature paths, a fun saloon, a lively party barn, and even a little performance stage. The stunning 1940s restored chapel quickly became a sought-after venue for couples looking to tie the knot in a picturesque setting.
