This customer asked about mattresses before his visit stating that he has a bad back a was concerned about what mattresses we had . Told him there were no cheap mattresses and that master bedroom has 4 inch memory foam topper. He seemed satisfied at that point. Noone has ever said the mattresses were uncomfortable before. All of his comments during his stay were very nice and positive about the property.

So sorry the sheets did not seem clean. It is very important to us that things are clean for our guests. We will definitely check into the sheet- cleaning situation to insure that doesn't happen again. Thanks so much for staying with us and for your review. UPDATE: It was determined that the sheets may have seemed not clean because they were beige in color. The sheets have since been replaced with new white sheets.

This lady has stated a bunch of untrue things in an attempt to get a refund

Mr Magoon states in his review that I took no responsibility for this his complaints but the fact is I flew from Kentucky to Florida to meet with him regarding his complaints. After I told him that I was coming, he left, even though he had approximately five more days on his rental. Mr. Magoon threatened to place a bad review on VRBO if I did not provide a refund. So I flew to Florida from Kentucky to see about his complaints. I would think that if he had legitimate complaints that he would have wanted to meet with me to confirm his position. He also states that VRBO took no responsibility on this matter which is not true. VRBO contacted me on this issue and I told them I would fly to Florida to see about this issue. About his comments about sleeping arrangements, the master bedroom has a $1,200 mattress with a 3 inch memory foam pad on it. The second bedroom has a $1,200 mattress on it. All of our many reviews, except Mr Magoon's, are good reviews, many are 5 star reviews and most are over 4.5 stars. The persons that stayed prior to Mr Magoon's visit, two school teachers, left a nice letter, which I have, and gave us a 5 star review. The customer that just left, immediately after Mr. Magoon has made no complaints. On the other web provider we are known as a Super-Host with a star rating of approximately 4.7. When I arrived at the property the person that drove me from the airport came in to see if they had any allergic reaction or smelled odors and they did not. About his comment about the blinds I have receipts where we have purchased new blinds within the last 3 months. His comment about the blinds is completely fabricated. Also, there is no dirt or grime on our windows. When I looked around it appeared that Mr. Magoon had made a strong effort to find whatever he could wrong with my property. His text message mentioned that there was dirt under the couch. He moved the carpet to pull out the couch and yes, there was a small amount of dust under it. About his comments about the rugs or carpets, the carpet in the second bedroom was purchased and installed this year (2022) and the carpet in the master bedroom was purchased and installed last year (2021). I have receipts to confirm these carpet purchases and we don't allow pets and there is no odor in them. We have a housekeeper that cleans the property between every rental. She does an excellent job. About his comment that the pictures do not reflect the accurate conditions of the property, yes, we don't set the kitchen table anymore and the bedroom has a different TV which is now mounted up high on the wall making it easier for viewing. Otherwise the pictures are accurate. It appears to me that all of Mr. Magoon's complaints or fabrications are just an attempt to get a refund.

Sorry you found the beds to be uncomfortable...particularly since they have quality mattresses on them and a 2inch topper on the master bedroom bed. I know some people have trouble adjusting to new sleeping situations. We find the beds to be very comfortable when we stay, and realize how important a good night's sleep is to our guests as well. This is a lovely community and so convenient to the beaches of Anna Maria Island, restaurants, and shopping. We hope you will visit with us again soon.
