About Us
We enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, and hiking. Recent adventures include trekking the Renjo La Pass in Nepal (Gokyo Lakes) and hiking the Kumano Kodo in Japan. The previous year, we walked the Primitivo Route of the Camino de Santiago in Spain. Exploring new places—especially on foot—is something we truly enjoy.
As Hosts
We enjoy hosting and aim to treat our guests the same way we appreciate being treated when we travel. Over the years, we’ve been guests throughout the U.S., including Hawaii, Idaho, Washington, Colorado, New York, New Mexico (Taos), and Costa Rica, as well as internationally in Argentina, Bolivia, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Greece, India, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Mexico, South Africa, Spain, and Wales.
Each stay teaches us something new, and we thoughtfully apply those experiences to our own home. We love this area for its unique balance of nature and access. It offers beautiful hiking and open space, yet it’s still close to the ocean, San Francisco, Monterey, and Silicon Valley. That combination is rare and something we truly value.
Wildlife is part of everyday life here. It’s uncommon not to see deer or wild turkeys in the backyard, and if you’re lucky, you may spot red foxes or coyotes passing through. The setting feels peaceful and connected to nature, while still being conveniently located near everything the Bay Area has to offer.

What truly sets our property apart is the rare combination of space, privacy, nature, and convenience. The home is unusually spacious for an Airbnb, and stepping outside places you immediately in a natural setting—oak trees, open space, birds during the day, and owls at night.
While we are close to the highway and Silicon Valley, the property sits far enough away that road noise is minimal. This makes it especially appealing for guests who work in Silicon Valley and want an easy commute, but also want to return to a quiet, relaxing environment at the end of the day.
At the same time, the property is well suited for guests seeking a wellness-focused stay. With a pool, hot tub, sauna, and direct access to nearby trails, it’s easy to slow down, unplug, and enjoy being surrounded by nature. A trailhead just down the hill connects to Rancho San Antonio, allowing guests to hike directly from the property.
